I don’t care too much for the Royals but this one’s a strange one. Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has not been seen in public since Christmas day.
Unity News suggests that other weird things have been happening with the Royals but this is all probably coincidence. First, at the weekend a rare sighting was made down the Mall, leading to Buckingham Palace. Two black horses accompanied the King’s white horse with his colours covered in a black shroud. The King’s horse is only meant to be seen in public if he is present but he was not at the Palace at the weekend. The next day, it was announced that Lord Jacob Rothschild had died.
Next, Prince William suddenly pulled out of his godfather’s memorial service due to a ‘personal matter’. The Prince was meant to be delivering a reading at the service and when Kensington Palace was questioned they did not elaborate further. Instead, they said the Princess of Wales continued to be doing well.
Perhaps the horses were for another Royal, financier Thomas Kinston. It was announced yesterday that he has died suddenly on Sunday, aged 45. Thomas was the son-in-law of senior Royals, the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
Back to Kate.
As I say the last time the public saw Kate Middleton was on Christmas day 2023. In January, Kensington Palace announced that she had undergone planned abdominal surgery and would resume public duties until “after Easter” at the earliest.
Clearly whatever the Princess has been in hospital for is quite serious and I wish her a speedy recovery. However, the fact that there haven’t been any images of her arriving at hospital, leaving hospital or lying in bed telling her fans that she is recovering well, has started to raise suspicions.
Some have pointed out that whilst this intense privacy may be Royal protocol, the King was photographed going into hospital and has confirmed that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Why wouldn’t Kate do something similar? All it would take is a short message to alleviate people’s fears.
Hopefully, this is a nothing story and she is recovering at home in peace but a timeline suggests that everything is not as it seems.
Around the time it was announced she had gone into hospital, a hit piece was published in the Mirror. Later on, the entire story was changed to be about Harry rather than Kate. Was this a smear campaign that was subsequently decided against?
I understand the need for privacy, especially after a serious operation, but the lack of communication from the Royal family is arousing suspicion. Foreign newspapers claiming that Kate was in a coma, combined with none of her family visiting her during her two week stay in hospital add to the intrigue which could easily be quelled. Add to that the newspaper stories in early January (before it was announced she was in hospital) about the terrible fights they have and how William throws things in a temper. Was the press hinting at what had really happened before they were restricted from reporting?
Hopefully nothing and we’ll see Kate back after Easter but still something to keep an eye on.
Something seems amiss with the Waleses, but I’m more struck by those side-by-side Mirror articles. How could they change the article to a new subject, but keep everything else, including a quote? That’s like literally a science fiction trope.
And the longer it goes on, the more we think it is extremely serious.
