Today's Must-Reads - 24 April 2023 & Reader Poll on retirement
A selection of the latest news, studies, reports and articles
I spend a lot of time each day gathering together new information and interesting articles. I then pick one or two of the most interesting topics and write about them. However, that leaves a lot of missed out information that I’m not sharing.
Below is a summary of all the latest articles and information that I’ve found. Today, this is a slimmed down version for all subscribers but will be for paid subscribers only a lot of the time in the future.
Please consider taking out a paid subscription because it enables me to spend longer reporting on the news that isn’t, but should be reported.
Climate Change
Inventor of the PCR test, the late Dr Kary Mullis, gives some interesting opinions on climate change, the military complex and how scientist sold out.
The climate change cult is now convincing people not to have children. The Washington Post says “Don’t want a baby because of climate fears? You’re not alone.” In a 2021 survey of 10,000 people between the ages of 16 and 25, 40% of them were hesitant to have children.
Covid
Why would our government keep awarding contracts to EcoHealth Alliance? They used taxpayer dollars to fund gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. James Comer said that “EcoHealth should not receive a penny of American taxpayer dollars for their gross mismanagement of Americans’ hard-earned money.”
The NY Post looks at the 10 myths told by Covid experts - and now debunked. Topics that we were misled on included: Natural immunity; Masks; School closures; Myocarditis; Young people benefiting from the booster; Vaccine mandates; Covid origins; Spacing out doses; Data on the bivalent vaccine and Long Covid.
The Academy of Medicine is now leaning towards a laboratory accident. The reference medical authority in France has broken the taboo of an origin linked to manipulations by virologists in Wuhan.
Covid Mandates & Lockdowns
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. argues that American middle classes were ‘systematically’ wiped out under COVID-19 lockdowns. The Democratic presidential candidate is gearing to take on Biden and then Trump and drew contrast between America and China's economies.
Britain is suffering a cancer crisis after the pandemic prioritised Covid. Operations were cancelled on a scale seen almost nowhere else in Western Europe with deaths from some types of the disease tripling.
The National Post says public health authorities betrayed science during the pandemic, and their credibility suffered. Had it actually been 'following the science' on masking, the CDC would have transparently communicated its uncertainty at every step.
Economy/Energy/Finance
Chinese city public servants are to receive digital Yuan salaries from next month. Personnel in public service, public institutions and state-owned units at all levels in the city will be compensated with the digital currency. This will only further their social credit system by allowing the government to control their spending.
ChatGPT, the AI chatbot can now predict stock moves based on news headlines. While quantitative analysts (quants) on Wall Street have long employed language models, including natural language processing (NLP), to inform their strategies, ChatGPT's performance suggests that the technology developed by OpenAI has reached a new level of sophistication in understanding context and nuance.
What does strong gold say about the weak Dollar? Chair of Rockefeller International Ruchir Sharma, writes in the FT and says the US has been weaponising its currency but that comes with a cost.
The WS Journal tells us why the banking mess isn’t over. Deposit flight and higher funding costs risk squeezing small businesses beyond big cities.
Politics
The Gateway Pundit suggests that after disastrous debates in 2020, the Democrats have decided to not hold presidential debates in 2024. The Washington Post reported that the Democrats had no plans to sponsor primary debates.
Will you ever retire? The WS Journal doesn’t think so and due to the Ponzi scheme nature of pension funds is trying to normalise that fact. However, as with most nudging these days, you will not retire because you decided not to retire, not because there is no money. So the WSJ frames the argument by saying “for many people, the idea of stopping work is a nonstarter—an inevitable path to boredom, ill health and a life devoid of meaning”.
Countries such as Russia, Canada and Greenland are much smaller than you think. This phenomenon can be attributed to the Mercator projection, a map most commonly seen hanging in classrooms and in text books which was created in 1596 to help sailors navigate the world. It gives the right shapes of land masses, but at the cost of distorting their sizes in favour of the wealthy lands to the north.
Vaccines
New advice from the JCVI has been published for high risk 0-4 year olds. HART has spent the last two years explaining why it never made sense to vaccinate young people. They have been horrified as the vaccine has been extended to ever younger age groups even as Covid has become significantly milder. They have repeatedly written to the JCVI asking for their justifications. No satisfactory or comprehensive response has ever been received. Unstoppable as they appear to be, earlier this month an extraordinary document was published by the JCVI.
The definition of vaccines has been redefined. Lawyer Aaron Siri notes that world-renowned scientists asked the FDA to amend the Covid vaccine labels to state that they don’t prevent infection or transmission. Instead the FDA responded by saying "FDA’s authorization and licensure standards for vaccines do not require demonstration of the prevention of infection or transmission"
The "vaccines" are bioweapons - categorised as "countermeasures" by the US Department of Defence which issued the contracts - and therefore not subject to any of the usual FDA public health regulations and scrutiny.
Substack investigators Sasha Latypova and Katherine Watt have all the gory details.
As everyone now knows, these spike proteins that the body is instructed to produce are toxic. If anyone given these (I met someone who had had 6) are immunocompromised), i.e. body unable to mount any reaction, why are they given any at all? It makes no sense to me and I wonder about all those also toxic delivery parcels, LNPs, as well as gizillions of spike proteins that are produced each jab with no response from body. Pfizer's man, Bancel, is on video Dec 2020 saying immunocompromised should NOT receive these jabs at all and said they should receive monocol? antibodies instead. Even UK JVCI said in Dec 2020 that frail and immunocompromised do not do well. Whether this meant just no reaction antibody wise or adverse outcomes was not clear.
