I live in the sunbelt… I talk to a lot of older Americans/retirees. They aren’t afraid of Covid but more afraid of how life has become more complex and hostile. The ones that fear pathogens just wear a mask and don’t bother anyone. I don’t see a lot of elderly wearing masks here tho.
