Well, the British keep electing morons just as we do. Maybe the effort to achieve Brexit used up all reserves of British spine for a generation.
So whilst your services are declining, the rich are getting richer... And those who do not contribute to the tax base get the services you paid for.
The state is broke so private contractors supply all the services and the result is as predicted.
