Charles has had deep desire to be " Charles in Charge!" In case it didn't show in UK, that was an 80s sitcom with a male nanny named Charles who was supposed to be in charge. Things didn't always turn out as planned though. Bonny Prince Charley (he's anything but bonny) has waited over 70 years for this. I'm sure he wants to make the best ( for him) of it. I guess as an American I should mind my own business, but since he wants to mind mine through his global crap, I'll put in my two cents. I was never a fan of good time Charley.

Bringing the entire country to a grinding halt sounds like the exertion of an awful lot of power for something that is only a cultural fixture and for someone who was supposedly only a figurehead.

Your ex MI6 man Dr. John Coleman wrote a book in 1991(Conspirator’s Hierarchy) in which he exposed how the world is really run. This was the story of the Committee of 300, an international secret society centred around the rich and powerful who allegedly control the business and institutional apparati that rule the western world and much of the eastern. The Head of it all: Queen Elizabeth II. The primary agenda: One World Government. The web of individuals and institutions named, including British Royalty, is extensive.
The story includes the assertion that the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the Tavistock Institute and MI6 were, circa 1991, at the very head of the machinery and that they were headquartered in both London and New York, that the Committee used the Club of Rome(which met in NY) extensively as its ‘implementation’ arm, and that through the Committee the UK controlled the US as if Yorktown never happened. Naturally Americans find this part of Dr. Coleman’s main thesis(that the world is run by a rich and powerful cabal, not governments) dubious, but if it is true(his experience and research are exhaustive) then King Charles III has stepped into a very powerful position indeed. I suspect very few would agree with everything in Conspirator’s Hierarchy. John Coleman exposes a world hidden to most of us. But I find his main thesis highly credible. We live in a world of Double Cabinets. Some of Dr. Coleman’s predictions are surreal in terms of accuracy. As an example he predicted that bioweapons and public health would be a principle tool of the One World cabal to subjugate and control the population, and that it was coming soon. Fancy reading

You’re howling at the wrong moon with this one. Even ex-terrorists, now ‘leaders and politicians’, in my country (Northern Ireland) are playing at being respectful for a few days. I don’t see any of the aggression from the police compared to previous times when they’ve removed protestors (I’m thinking anti-BLM, pro-Brexit, anti lockdown and vaccine protests here). In all honesty, moving protestors along is probably as much for their own safety as anything given the mood of the country. Ironically, many of those protesting, particularly in England, will be the same middle-class liberal elite who think that implementation of masks, vaccine passports and country-wide lockdowns at the first sniff of covid (pun intended) should be a regular part of life.
Is there a conversation about the monarchy being worth having? Absolutely. The RF are not blind to this and CIII will almost certainly will be trimming down the excesses of the RF and trying to modernise it.
Do I worry about his links to WEF and long-standing promotion of climate change? Again, absolutely. However, I’m willing to give him time - his mother remained incredibly neutral to the end about virtually all matters of government policy. Time will tell if Charlie is the same

Don't mistake our Constitutional Monarchy for a lack of democracy.
Quite clearly the democratic mood is to retain the monarchy at the current time. There is no widespread support for a republic with an elected President - the USA has put the nail in that coffin . . .
While such protests would be in the worst taste at a private citizen's funeral, being queen or king or modern day nobility also means you're not a private citizen.
I fail to see the problem having a designated protesters' area along the way of the cortege.
"Protesting, sir or madam? Right this way, mind how you go now."
Doesn't have to be out-of-the way either.
The police could even use it to score points:
"We wanted to simultaneously defend the citizens' right to peaceful assembly and protest, as well as accomodate any eventual need for a safe space for the protestors".
It's not as if any of these front running puppets, royalty or politician, actually make any meaningful decisions.... That should have been crystal clear at the very start of the Covidian Madness.
