With the establishment going funeral crazy, the police have once again started to abuse their position of power by arresting anti-monarchy protestors. The police massively overstepped the mark during the pandemic, by arresting people for sitting on a park bench for example, and are now repeating their mistakes by targeting republicans. They forget that their role is to be neutral, protecting both protestors and people who have come to mourn the loss of the Queen.
A barrister filmed his conversation with a police officer after he was told that he risked be arrested if he wrote ‘not my king’ on a blank piece of paper. Fortunately, this eagle eyed copper spotted this pre-crime before the man was able to get his pen out and saved himself a lot of paperwork. When asked what the pre-crime was, that he was being questioned about, the office said “You may offend someone”.
People are now holding blank sheets of paper in defence of the right to protest. Unfortunately, quite a few of them are wearing masks outside.
Another member of the public was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence for shouting ‘Who elected him’? Whilst a protestor holding another ‘Not my King’ sign was hauled away by the outraged coppers. Apparently, ‘Fuck imperialism. Abolish the monarchy’ was another step too far with a lady being taken away and arrested.
Spot the odd one out above.
Of course the people protesting should be as respectful as possible to a family in mourning but the argument that people should wait until after the funeral to protest is nonsense. Whilst power is being transferred from one unelected monarch to another, it is exactly the right time to protest. The family, who’s wealth comes from the amazing achievement of being born, are choosing to parade themselves around the country and not pay inheritance tax which us mere mortals have to. Therefore, the people who fund them (us the tax payers) have every right to protest. Especially when us tax payers are forced to pay for dubious items such as Prince Andrew’s multi million pound legal case against sexual abuse allegations connected with his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Nobody should be stopped by the police for saying, thinking or offending anybody, unless it is inciting violence. I thought this was the 21st Century, not the Middle Ages. I thought this was Great Britain, not Russia. But apparently not. It has even been reported that events such as football matches were cancelled, not out of respect to the Queen’s family, but because there were fears ‘tributes may not have been fully respected’.
And as if the health of the British public hadn’t been destroyed enough already, thousands of hospital appointments are being cancelled because of the Queen’s funeral. Even though waiting lists are at an all time high, cancer treatments, cataract surgery, maternity checks and joint replacements have all been scrapped. GPs have also been allowed to close but it’s ok though, vaccination centres will still be open.
Two years of disrupted earnings, especially for the self-employed, have resulted in great hardship for many but this is being further exacerbated by events being cancelled during this period of mourning. Buskers (i.e. self employed musicians) have been banned from earning a living for 10 days, with Transport for London announcing that they must disappear from tube and railway stations. It’s ok though, guys, this winter should be pretty cheap so enjoy your enforced holiday.
And on that cheap winter note, it looks like the funeral is going to be blamed for the upcoming recession.
Our virtuous (virtue signalling) and over-worked (lazy) politicians have also stopped working “out of respect for the Queen”. Heroes. Fortunately, they are still on full pay though, unlike the buskers.
Whether you like the Royals or not is irrelevant, Britons are going to be encouraged to view the King as a kind, compassionate and wise monarch. We will be made to see him as the ‘grandfather of the nation’. This comes as latest polling suggests support for the monarch has dropped 10% over the last decade to 62%. I love all this n̶u̶d̶g̶i̶n̶g̶ encouragement that has been going on recently and hopefully it will make me a better subject (sarcasm). By the looks of things, I will have to say that soon or off with my head.
God save the King (they made me say that).
God Save Us From The King would be more like it. He’s 100% part of the globalists and I’ve no doubt he’ll do his part to accelerate their timeline.
I live in the US, and it’s the same type of situation here, in that they will take anything as an excuse to further tighten the ratchet to strip humanity from our inherent freedoms. Stay strong.
Charles has had deep desire to be " Charles in Charge!" In case it didn't show in UK, that was an 80s sitcom with a male nanny named Charles who was supposed to be in charge. Things didn't always turn out as planned though. Bonny Prince Charley (he's anything but bonny) has waited over 70 years for this. I'm sure he wants to make the best ( for him) of it. I guess as an American I should mind my own business, but since he wants to mind mine through his global crap, I'll put in my two cents. I was never a fan of good time Charley.
