In the UK the propaganda is working. Everybody I've spoken to this week is worried there'll be a nuclear attack by Russia. I dismiss it and also dismiss their conviction that Putin is a "madman" . Twice today I've pulled people up on that particular myth. I'm so ashamed of my government/media lately that I don't think I'll ever trust them again. But more so I'm ashamed of my fellow Brits who seem to be buying this b/s. It's terrifying that people are so gullible.

yep, they swallowed the covid crap and now they swallow this. overall, it is tiresome and frustrating, though i think it is in the nature of many to simply assume the media tells the truth, even in cases where they know that they were lying/distorting previously (and in recent times too)

Yet if the US arranges a false flag nuke or chemical attack, they will immediately see it as proof that the claims were true all along, and will want you to admit it as well.

I am in the UK and I agree with you. The most terrifying force is those who unthinkingly accept what they are being told as truth. I stopped trusting the mainstream narrative some long time ago but especially over COVID. I just hope that there are more people than we know who can see the propaganda for what it is.

I don't think we are entirely alone - it just feels like that. There are an awful lot of blinkered people though.

I’m seeing a high likelihood for this, too. Not an expert or anything, have no special insight, just know (think) the globalists are all in on this being “their chance.”

Thanks for this! Great article & topic.

For Oliver - yep - it’s like when a screenwriter/director shows a gun over the fireplace, it must be fired before the movie is over. Incredibly chilling and reckless. This entire edifice has been in operation, planning for many decades. Our current perspective allows we the people to stand back and see it clearly. Diversion tactics at the very least - at worst an act to bury incredible sins.

Great Article! I have friends in Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, UK and US. Ordinary people businessman. We have witnessed the US propaganda and manufacturing consent many times. What is happening now, the extend to which US is misrepresenting what is actually happening and has been happening for years, the ferocity of the propaganda and politics of war, everything around this moment ....well, we agree with Mr Stone 100%

I find the Putin Peanut Gallery Cheering Squad a little peculiar to say the least.

That the US often sticks covert fingers where they don't belong doesn't therefore mean that Putin is Europe's most misunderstood man.

Secretly sweetening a political adversary's tea with polonium so they rot slowly from the inside, as a little warning to everyone else, is not a tactic that I can admire, and killing citizens of a sovereign nation on their own soil with Eau de Nerve Agent as you try to assassinate a defector is, to be clear, evil.

Putin is a very bad person. Biden is a very bad person. Biden's entire State Dept. is comprised of Very Bad Persons, but that does not mean that the Russian govt. isn't.

Stone makes some great films but I don't think he's immune to fabulism and I see no reason to swallow anyone's version of anything without ironclad proof, and we really never do get that, do we?

Include fixing the Ukranian elections in the list of finger sticking. That’s like a soft coup, a cyber war, a digital, invasion. Taking away the freedom of a whole nation is a war crime, period. Balanced against some spies killed with nerve agent and polonium is no contest in my book

Oliver Stone is welcome to Sweden; we have the russian nuclear base Kaliningrad (also the major hot spot for HIV and pollution of the Baltic) 214 miles from Gotland, and Russia har repeatedly violated swedish air and water while conducting exercises, not to mention actually holding war games where the scenario was all-out nuclear attack against Denmark and Norway to deny US/NATO troops access.

Add to that the ongoing threats from russian ambassadors and russian state-loyal media against Finland and Sweden due to our governements now starting the application process for full NATO-membership.

Meanwhile, the US has never issued any military threat against any scandinavian nation, ever. Russia, together with Turkey, regularly uses fake refugees (numbering millions) as a threat against the EUrocrats - human wave tactics designed to break national cohesion, create huge and ongoing cumulative costs, and internal chaos and strife in their western neighbours.

Of course, mr Stone doesn't know any scandinavian language, but perhaps he should start reading english speaking media about the region, before he makes more a fool of himself.

When has Russia threatened sweden or Finland? They were neutral and there was peace for the entire cold war plus thirty three years and now suddenly they want to join NATO because both their prime minister flooozies were told to by their pimp masters at the World Economic Forum and they do it? How is Russia supposed to respond to that insane NATO aggression on it's 1350km border with Finland, chocolates and flowers? NATO should be disbanded before it starts ww3 which is probably their goal.

The current Russian Empire is a pretty sad collection of unwilling ethnicities forced to live as "autonomous republics" even as the Soviet Union is supposedly no more, and if you'd like to see a dictionary definition of "insane aggression" you might want to look at Grozny.

Oh do read a little history why don't you? Sweden was in with the US/NATO since the fifties for crying out loud, only not offically. Our navy and air force conducted scouting and surveillance operations for the benefit of the US, using among other things Mustang's bought as surplus after the war. Which caused the soviets to shoot don such a plane as a warning, eventually. All hands lost. Not to mention the swedish navy managing to trap a soviet sub in the archipelago dotting our East Coast; the official soviet line was "navigational mistakes". Some mistake, a nuclear armed sub stranding itself on an islet.

We have conducted military exercises and operations with NATO or more than 20 years! I can understand you not knowing about that, since few people understand swedish, but you do know that both NATO and the US armed forces have homepages where they are quite open with ongoing missions, exercises, and who is partaking in those?

As recent as early march, two russian TU-95s and two TU-22s overflew swedish territory. Those planes can carry nuclear weapons. Overflew, not straggled a little across the borer, but overflow in a blatant display of threatening behaviour.

The russian sub 'Dimitrij Donskoy' is regularly stationed in the Baltic, carrying up to 200 nuclear warheads in the 500 kilotons to 1 megaton range.

None of our nations here is a threat to Russia, hasn't been for centuries, yet Russia has always been hostile and violent towards its neighbours. Read Finlands history when they were under russian rule, or the history of the baltic states Estland, Lettland, and Litauen.

You might not have realised from my initial post, that I'm swedish, since you write "they" instead of "you"?

Just admit like most Poles and Estonians you swedes were born to hate Russia. You rant and rave like a hysterical child about planes flying over, meanwhile NATO has violated every promise made to Russia since 1991 pushing all the way up to all of its borders. What is the point of joining NATO now, 33 years after the cold war if not to poke the bear? Finland especially since they have a 1350 km border with Russia? You cannot find one good reason, other than your own cultural biases and hatred of Russia. NATO made sense during the cold war. Now their purpose is clearly belligerence and conflict, and now they aim to take it globally. As for Sweden, you've mostly given away your damn nation to unadulterated immigration anyway so it's not like much of Sweden remains worth fighting for anyway. I've been to Malmo and Mogadishu and can hardly tell the two apart. Anyway, it's called empathy, the ability to see the world through another's eyes and understand their situation. Try it from Russia's perspective sometime and you might start to see things more clearly.

gee, let's count what the US/NATO and Russia did in the last 50 years! Vietnam war started by the US with a false flag (Gulf of Tonkin incident), Syria - many false flags involving chemical weapons, the most well known being the one in Douma. Iraq - proven false allegations of Iraq possessing chemical and biological weapons resulting in the second Iraq war and over 1Million dead civilian Iraqis. Libya anyone? Serbia/Kosovo. Those are just the most prominent examples.

Sure, Russia is not the elvish land but is nowhere near what we have seen from the US/NATO.

Ukraine is losing the war badly and the US can't have this. Whoever uses a nuclear weapon is just beyond any evil that have lived on this planet.

Indeed, as crazy as this sounds, it's impossible to rule it out. Unfortunately, if it did happen, the vast majority would immediately believe Russia did it, and would be extremely emotional. There would be no point and much risk in suggesting it may have been the US. People are just not capable of believing that, just like they were incapable of believing that governments lied about Covid and vaccines.

“....a dream scenario of the neoconservative anarchists in our government...”

That really is laughable. With the world and the Biden administration being run by globalist elites who are overwhelmingly far Left, Stone comes up with “neoconservative anarchists”. He really does need to name names. I’m just dying to know who these people are.

Well the neocon/neoliberal alliance is just salivating over war with Russia and destroying Russia. The neocon/neoliberal alliance is of course owned by the Davos Bankster Psychopaths. So the reality is that it is the Global Bankster clique that wants to make Russia another subservient client state, same as the USA & Europe are.

".. Neoliberalism is Corporatism. Neoliberal Globalism is Corporatism on a Global Scale. Corporatism is the Merger of Corporate and State Power, and the transfer of all wealth and power upwards towards the Corporate Oligarch elites. It is a system of total corruption, whereby power and wealth is used to buy corrupt politicians and bureaucrats to further transfer power and wealth upwards towards the Corporate elites...". With a added big dose of Identity Politics to direct hostility of the populace away from the obscenity of their Kleptocracy, instead onto each other. A quintessential Divide And Conquer strategy.

Neocon is also Corporatism sans the Identity politics mostly and an added extreme Western Imperialism doctrine. A fundamental demand for their Global "Rules Based Order" which is Global Tyranny and Centralized Control.

Both Neoliberalism and Neoconservatism as political movements have their origins in the 20th century, particularly the 1960s in the US. I believe that referring to today’s Globalists using the terms Neoliberal or Neoconservative is both confusing and inaccurate. There was indeed a pro-business and pro-capitalist aspect to both the neoliberal and neoconservative movements, however they included very centrist and center-right elements that emphasized concepts such as deregulation, limited government, free trade(pre-globalism), and generally a nationalist or hawkish foreign policy. These movements did not morph into today’s Globalist cabal, which has it’s roots in far left, progressive and in some cases(not all) Marxist ideologies. It would e more accurate, in my opinion, to refer to the Globalists as neo-fascist, emphasizing the very strong totalitarian partnership between government and business that you refer to.

Would the US really use Nukes against Russia?

On September 25, 1975 several previously secret documents from the US War Department, dated September 15, 1945, were declassified.....These documents revealed, in stark tones, that the USA had planned a coordinated unprovoked nuclear attack with 204 atomic bombs to destroy 66 major urban areas in the Soviet Union....Estimated loss of human lives 285 to 425million!
