And to think there are people who wonder how stuff like The Somme happens.

This. This is how. Idiots in charge having visions and grand ideas with no personal risk or cost, that's how.

Hats off to the doc, though. Not having anything to lose is a kind of freedom.

I love this clip. Also the reaction of the nurses to uncle Fester's first question - not totally on board with the program, then?

All in all, a total glasnost moment...

In a paranoptimist way it makes me wonder if this was not allowed to come out as part of a nascent campaign to justify the government's u-turn on NHS mandatory vaccinations. Surely they realise the numbers are not on their side and it would just cause further chaos? My pesimistoid side, however, keeps thinking they don't care about the chaos provided they destroy the control group, but I hope that's just me being crazy.

Interesting theory. Austria have u-turned for now so maybe you are right.

Austria has u-turned?! When? Can't find any news about it (only about Germany not quite u-turning but 'wobbling')!

About the UK situation I think it was the day after Sajid's clip that the BBC's website main article was this one about pressure in hospitals: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-59910495

It includes, amongst many other interesting things, this:

"Prof Spiegelhalter said there was still no sign of a "serious increase" in patients in intensive care, those needing ventilation and deaths."We would have expected to see that by now in London and elsewhere, so that is the really reassuring thing," he told the BBC. I think we can guarantee that over this wave... what we're not going to see is a big surge in very severe outcomes." He said the "crucial" thing was the disruption to the NHS and other services."

Given that these days the BBC is as independent as Pravda, comments such as this, where the focus is on staff shortages rather than on the 'pandemic of the unvaccinated' could be an indication of where the UK government wants to go - but of course they can't be seen to u-turn; they'd want to frame it as responding to a changing situation - the actions of an open-minded government that 'follows the science'.

The NHS staff are really the tip of the spear for this narrative. This was nothing more than cynical attempt by the elite to test the waters of how convincing their narrative is. Jabit clearly did not get the answer he wanted. He is testing the waters to see what push back the NHS mandatory vaccinations for a "head cold" would turn out to be. It is likely a step too far for a work force strung out on decisions by privileged incompetence. These NHS mandates are a gamble which will result in a cascade of chaos. Pitching the government in direct confrontation with NHS staff will result in either an immediate u turn or if they are arrogant enough will end up with major changes in the cabinet. If there are any further photo opportunities, it might be time to ask the government when exactly do they propose that we "take it on the chin"?

Idiot Health Secretary (HS) to a group of nurses - "What do you think of the new rule to require vaccination of all NHS staff?"

As if they would give candid answers knowing that saying anything out of line will result in their dismissals!

I know, a strange question to ask!

Dr. James thank you for your bravery and for standing firm in your beliefs. It is wrong for the covid shots to be mandated or for anyone to be forced, coerced or threatened to take them. As more and more Healthcare workers speak up and detail their experiences regarding covid and the covid shots, I'm hopeful things will change.

Sajid ‘Jabit’ as I’ve read of him being referred to as.

So proud of this doctor!

In your most recent post, you mention that kids hospitalization rates are increasing. I wonder what percent of those are kids who were vaccinated?

If it was my most recent article, I said this was being used as supporting evidence for the theory I was discussing but I would do a separate article on this to investigate what the actual truth is.

A previous article I did, looking at hospitalisations by age, showed an increase this year versus last year in the UK. In the 0-5 group, no child would have been vaccinated and very few in the 6-17 group.

In the states, we have a number of 0-5 in vaers (or so I’ve read from trusted sources) and the kids are worse with omicron narrative clearly came after the 5-12 roll out of vaxx. Additionally “kids” are often anyone under 18 and the 12-18 set have a significantly higher vaxx rate.

I’m going to pull my state data to see how many kids were talking about where I live, but the levels were so low earlier this year and last, almost any size increase will be large relative and nominally. The problem here is that the data is never reported with vaxx status, which tells you that including the vaxx status would at least not help the vaxx=good narrative. And implies that it’s more likely that the vaxx status would hurt the narrative since all neutral data is easily twisted to being positive for vaxx.
