🤦♂️Uhh, no. Computers are no more “intelligent” now than they were in the punched-card days. Their ability to generate plausible English sentences doesn’t make them “intelligent” any more than their ability to generate realistic-looking images makes them cameras.
Computers always have, do now, and always will merely perform (possibly a vast number) of a very limited set of low-level logic operations on their inputs. Real intelligence is nothing like this. Computer output is necessarily always deterministic and therefore attributes of real intelligence, such as creativity, will always only be simulated (creativity is more than “randomness”). Simulations are just that; they’re not the real deal.
The “fear of AI” is like being afraid of “radiation” from your microwave oven: it’s only scary to those who don’t understand it. Wild stories of its incredible power are clickbait and serve the purposes of those who wish to rule through fear. Don’t be sucked in —it’s not what they want to make it look like it is.

It is their holy mantra. If you notice their roles grow less as they age. There are many ways to avoid an unwanted pregnancy besides abortion. Getting your tubes tied is the most permanent. I had to do that after my 2nd C-section. The pill was supposed to be the thing. Condoms came before, and are mostly free. But the drugged/drunk don't think to use them.
