Today's Must-Reads - 23 April 2023
A selection of the latest news, studies, reports and articles
I spend a lot of time each day gathering together new information and interesting articles. I then pick one or two of the most interesting topics and write about them. However, that leaves a lot of missed out information that I’m not sharing.
Below is a summary of all the latest articles and information that I’ve found. Today, this is a slimmed down version for all subscribers but will be for paid subscribers only a lot of the time in the future.
Please consider taking out a paid subscription because it enables me to spend longer reporting on the news that isn’t, but should be reported.
Covid
Why a Covid-19 lab leak just became more likely. Bats were coming into Wuhan through a route that did not involve wet markets, former head of the Chinese Centre for Disease Control, George Gao told a conference in Geneva. Prof. Gao told a conference in Geneva that scientists were also questioning whether Sars and Mers had jumped directly into humans, without needing the palm civets or camels originally blamed for the spillover. Here is also Prof. Gao discussing censoring a lab leak at Event 201 in October 2019. "My staff told me that there is misinformation. Some people believe that this is man-made or a pharmaceutical company made the virus”.
Because Australia vaccinated and boosted most of its population, Covid is no longer a problem. Oh hold on, last year Covid-19 was the third leading cause of death in Australia whilst in countries with low vaccination rates, Covid deaths are almost non-existent.
In the UK, the latest fear porn is the Arcturus variant with experts warning of 5 waves a year. “I think we're very lucky that this Arcturus is not a severe virus, but it will impact these three areas, vulnerable people, causing more long Covid and affecting children going to school”. The doctor even thinks Covid has reached sentience, “This virus is much more intelligent and much more creative than I thought it would possibly be, because it wants to survive and spread”.
Covid Mandates & Lockdowns
Retired anaesthetist, Robin Youngson writes in the BFD to say that the mandates were not essential to ‘protect the public’. For those with prior trauma, the vaccine mandate was state-sanctioned abuse. The hallmark of trauma is feeling utterly powerless or trapped. Not only did the state use extreme power and sweep aside the universal human right to refuse medical treatment, the remedy was also removed. To add insult to injury, a state of inescapable stress leads to severe compromise of the immune system. These clients were more likely to get infected with COVID and even if vaccinated, their antibody response will have been substantially lowered.
All Danforth Students must be fully up to date against COVID-19 before they arrive on campus. The deadline to submit documentation of vaccination or apply for a medical or religious exemption is August 1, 2023. To be fully vaccinated by August 1, the students must receive their final dose of vaccine no later than July 18 and it must be the new bivalent vaccine. So even if you had 2 doses of the monovalent vaccine, you can’t go to college until you have the bivalent version.
On April 19, 2023, Robert F. Kennedy announced his intention to challenge Biden in the Democratic primary for president. As part of his announcement speech in Boston, he spoke bluntly about Covid lockdowns. You can read the relevant excerpts of that speech here.
Economy/Energy/Finance
Something it brewing in Argentina. On Friday the central bank raised policy rates by 300 basis points amid a worsening monetary crisis. They also restricted access to dollars with most service-sector businesses applying for dollars now having to wait 60 calendar days to receive. Is this an Argentinian problem or a dollar shortage problem? With USD being removed from the system via QT, is this starting to impact other countries? It has been suggested that the central bank ran out of dollars and so took local bank customers’ deposits to plug the gap. They’ve now announced a bank holiday.
Ukrainian state-owned gas company Naftogaz has been holding talks with Exxon Mobil, Halliburton and Chevron about energy projects in the Ukraine. Ukraine, which used to be a main buyer of Russian gas, has not been importing gas directly from Russia since 2015, instead buying it from the European Union. Last month, the chief exec of Naftogaz said he plans to increase its natural gas production by more than 5% in 2023 to 19 billion cubic metres despite the Russian invasion.
The cost to insure US treasure debt is now more than at any time in the last 15 years.
Whilst the gap between the 1 month and 3 month treasuries has opened up to unprecedented levels.
Health
Why is Australia’s road toll higher than ever, despite speed cameras and safer cars, asks the Canberra Times. "We know that pedestrian road deaths rose by 22.6 per cent in the 12 months to 31 March. But we don't know the reasons for this surge."
What goes on in Vegas, hopefully stays in Vegas. Las Vegas Strip has a scary Covid-Created 'Fatal Fungus' problem. The pandemic created the perfect conditions for a deadly new problem, and Nevada's entire congressional delegation wants help from the CDC. "Covid-19 likely increases the risk for fungal infections because of its effect on the immune system and because treatments for Covid-19 (like steroids and other drugs) can weaken the body’s defenses against fungi," the CDC says on its website. They missed out one other things that can weaken the immune system.
News
The Bud Light senior marketing executive behind the controversial Dylan Mulvaney ad campaign has reportedly taken a leave of absence. Alissa Heinerscheid has led the brand since June but will be replaced by Budweiser global marketing VP Todd Allen on Friday. The same old story - Go Woke, Go Broke.
The Daily Mail reports that the man jailed for John Lennon’s murder may be innocent. A new documentary says a second gunman could have fired fatal shots and questions whether killer Mark Chapman was brainwashed by the CIA.
Ukraine
Reuters reports that G7 nations are considering a near-total ban on exports to Russia. Japan’s Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said "What is important for ending Russian aggression as soon as possible is that G7 remains united for severe sanctions against Russia and strong support for Ukraine".
Vaccines
Peter McCullough writes about microRNA (miRNA) getting disrupted by synthetic mRNA injections. miRNA don’t code for proteins but rather they regulate gene expression and management of larger strands of RNA.
A report on the age-stratified COVID-19 vaccine dose fatality rate for Israel and Australia concludes that 1 in 100 elderly people died from the injections. In the report, the vaccine-dose fatality rate (the ratio of vaccine-induced deaths to vaccine doses delivered in a population) from the COVID-19 vaccines is found to increase exponentially with age and to be close to 1% for the oldest age group.
This ain’t Pleasantville. Best news summary I know of anywhere.
Re: increased traffic accidents in Australia, Robert Malone did hypothesise that these injections could lead to more traffic accidents and such, as the longer-living, LNP delievered spike protein in the injections can cross the blood-brain barrier, causing "brain fog" etc.
Just another wild conspiracy theory.
(Australia, of course, has been mass injected up to its eyeballs and "boosted" into orbit.)
