It's so hard to read the absurdity of this species on a daily basis. It's a litany of insanity. Is there anyone with integrity, unfragmented, not seeking self gratification and self fulfillment.

Maybe we're not a "species".

Why can’t America stay out of other countries disputes. Why can we not keep our noses out!

Maybe you’d prefer to watch Europe be invaded again and for Russia take Alaska back after they’re done with Poland and Germany.

You think that’s not possible? Just watch Solovyov and co and learn something.

You do a lot of trade with Europe, if that disappeared you’d find out why you need to be involved… and don’t forget all the foreign bases you operate. 3-5 million unemployed if you undermine your defence industry.

One final point, a very weak US would rapidly become a Chinese puppet.

I haven't seen anything from Solovyov -- I'll look up a reference, if any is provided.

Were you among the presumed billion viewers of the Carlson/Putin interview? I wouldn't have believed such viewership of anything but a rock star. When a Ukranian friend pronounced the word "milliard" -- referring to that interview -- I picked up a new Franco/Russian expression for Carl Sagan's favorite number.

Consider Carlson's disclaimer: that the value of the piece is not in love for its subject, or any agreement with him, but in the opportunity to watch.

I have the impression that we're already a Chinese puppet, but it was something of a thrill to be permitted to watch that interview. A robust defense industry may be one of our Crown Jewels, but who is wearing the crown?

Solovyov, Mardan and Olga Skabeyeva are 3 of the main RuSSian propagandists who are on Russia-1 every night feeding propaganda to their audience.

They hatefully refer to Ukraine as a fake country with no right to exist… but they don’t stop there. They want to attack Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to take them back “to where they belong and will thrive in the Russian Empire”. Unfortunately, that won’t satisfy tyem, the also want Berlin and East Germany back as well.

They say everything that Putin wants them to say.

They do, of course, tell about how they are thoroughly justified in “liberating” Ukrainians, who are only Russians living in the so-called territory of Ukraine because they’re living under a Nazi regime that murders Russians.

Check out Jake Broe on YouTube, but he’s not the only one reporting on these genocidal bastards.

The conflict may be deeper than politics.

I'm far from a neocon, but in scouting out different mobile home parks for potential retirement living, I found a notable contrast between one with a predominance of American flags and the two or three which sported mostly Ukranian and rainbow flags.

I looked up "Brie", finding some nuclear certified ex-Air Force cartoonist speaking in front of a Ukranian flag. His cartoons aren't terribly well crafted -- I like my propaganda a little slicker. That's not to say I'm not propagandized, it's more a matter of taste in entertainment.

Many detest Tucker Carlson on sight, and the same number are likely offended by the image of Putin. Alex Jones! I doubt those who detest Carlson or Putin even watched a few minutes of the interview. I confess, I couldn't watch more than a few minutes of Broe.

What do you think of pictures of Boris Johnson? Tony Fauci? Gavin Newsom? Barak Obama? Kamala Harris?

If not any of the above, which are the common images in US or UK politics to inspire our confidence? Well, and how about Canada's Justin Trudeau?

I'll share with you an experience not many have had:

I was once loaned a book by a Russian friend of Swedish descent which told -- in a favorable light -- the story of the Ukrainians who sided with the Germans in WW2. The brave souls were done in by Nazi racial theory which precluded alliance with the potential tens of millions of Ukrainians who would willingly have fought against Stalin. She made sure I gave back the book after I had read it -- from cover to cover -- since it was presumably impossible to find the book again.

Have you read Solzhenitsyn's "Gulag"?

What about those covid shots?

I'm just prospecting for a range of sentiment.

Jake Broe isn’t a cartoonist, but he is former USAF. He produces 4 or 5 videos a week on the war, very much an Ukraine supporter, and for good reason.

America is already in a serious decline. Unwilling to sit down around a table no the US gov’t would rather fund all those military armaments and logistics and other companies, that make a nice little earner off a war. Do you really thing the average American sees any of that money. No, they just foot the bill by paying even more taxes. Oh and by the way if you are happy to send your son or daughter to fight a battle so large companies can make even more money, I would say you were in the minority. the US is already weak due to fours years of a totally incompetent and out of control gov’t. You are witnessing the decline of the western empire in slow motion. Don’t worry about China, worry about you own countries problems. There are many.

Wars would happen with or without American involvement.

If America was “quiet” on the military front, it would simply be another target for someone.

The fact that you produce the most technologically advanced weaponry is a plus for your country.

The industry employs around 5 million people directly and indirectly, it’s a big money earner and tax payer, so yes, it makes a significant contribution, as does any other industry in the US.

One thing is for certain is that no president is going to change that.

Trump would make it weaker, being a complete ignoramus, and RFK Jr wouldn’t make it to the White House for declaring that he’d basically cancel the military and pull up the drawbridge.

Biden is losing it, Trump has already lost it. His outburst about encouraging Putler to attack any NATO country that doesn’t “pay its bills” was probably not only the most dangerous statement since 1938 but also the most ignorant.

I don’t envy the choice that you have to make in November, but given that Johnson is complaining about the southern border being open and trying to guarantee it remains open is as utterly disgusting as it is dishonest.

If I were in the US and voting I’d be hoping right now that neither of those two would be the next president.

I do cold plunges. Takes inflammation away. Inflammation is directly related to depression and many other mental illnesses. Inflammation is usually treatable with lifestyle and diet changes, but that doesn't monetarily support Pharmikea pillpopping prescriptions. Shiver from the cold, not from fear, or withdrawls.

Hardly any money is spent in or on Ukraine. The money claim is utterly false. The money is spent on updating US military stock and old munitions. They put a full value on 40 year old stock that would otherwise be decommissioned.

Stop parroting the MAGA lies.
