WRT motorway speed limits in the UK: we broke down on the M4 in south Wales recently, in the 50mph-zone. The traffic was bunching up dangerously and I am still surprised after an hour and a half of waiting on the hard shoulder that I am alive to tell the tale. The recovery guy who eventually turned up confirmed my suspicion, when I asked him, that since the introduction of the speed restrictions the amount of accidents has got far, far worse. But his opinion obviously does not count, since he's only a lowly worker doing the actual job on the ground, not an "expert" in traffic management.

When you wrote, 'A supermassive black hole has been detected lurking at the edge of the universe' I read it as 'A supermarket black hole...' I thought it was something about the tomato shortage.

Or maybe it's the egg shortage. I was wondering how they know the age of the black hole. Were they around when it formed. It's a good thing I realized a long time ago that the whole outer space thing is mostly a bunch of baloney. I think the last time I indulged in baloney was in 1959.

The egg shortage is due to a chicken strike for higher pay and to fight back the chicken bosses have induced a new bird flu to scare them into submission

"These so-called solar maximums occur roughly every 11 years, and haven't been much of a problem in the past.

Scientists, however, fear that our reliance on electricity and interconnectivity could mean we're far more vulnerable to their affects this time around. "

Which is why we are speedrolling our reliance on electricity :)

I’m personally curious where the giant mirrors are coming from to “reflect” the sun (and possibly end the use of airplanes)? I thought the magical Woke Gods of “if I only believe hard enough it will become reality” were already busy making sure Saudi Arabia got every mirror on the planet for their skyscraper city a few football fields wide and the length of Ireland that’s totally going to be fully built by 2030............

Any thoughts on South Africa? I’m seeing a tiny bit of reporting it’s imploding (though it seems to have been fit decades), but very little about it overall. That said, what little I do see basically indicates its in the final state of becoming a completely failed state.

This is a crisis of their own making. You need to create dependence on the State to control... This is one way in which they are doing that. And don't fall for the solar panel rebate that was offered at the last budget - it us only on panels and only up to R15000. You cannot install panels without an inverter (which runs at avout R70000) and most people will not be able to afford that. This is about the appearance of activity without any real action/result!

Getting everyone dependent on the state is the globalists desire so they can control people. The high energy costs in UK and mainland Europe all designed to kill off businesses, lay people off work, make people spend any savings. All to bring in UBI, CBDC, Carbon Credits, etc.

I’m in the US. 99% of our media is propaganda. This issue doesn’t serve their purposes so it’s simply not covered so finding sources becomes even harder. Morally I disagree with apartheid, but even my left leaning mom said last night, without prompting, almost everyone in SA was better off under apartheid. It’s sad to hear what the country has become, but it’s sadder no one here talks about it. I firmly believe it’s possible to judge others as individuals because everyone I know does that, of every skin tone, but it seems when government gets involved the urge to be racists overwhelms and when combined with incompetence it destroys societies.

I don't follow sports, so I don't know much about the Byron Jones story. But it does seem like many players on various professional sports teams have been badly injured by the jabs (not to mention the poor sods who are dropping dead) - and would be forced into early retirement as a result.

Professional athletes are paid millions of dollars a year to play their sports. If you lost a career that was worth millions of dollars a year, wouldn't you be a bit pissed about having been mandated to take the jab to keep playing in the first place? When are we going to see class action lawsuits, where injured pro athletes, who were forced to retire early, team up to sue the people who made them take the jab in the first place?

" lab leak" undoubtedly but it's origin was NOT Wuhan, at least not according to Dr.David Martin in his most recent presentation; Dr Martin offers compelling evidence and documentation that the "virus" was well planned and developed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, that's right a product of US virological research ( the type illegal under US law); no problem, just transfer the research to Chinese virologists in Wuhan and one guess who all of the nefarious actors involved could have been...

The release of Hancock’s WhatsApps is in my view a good thing and more will be published over the next few days.

I live in hope that these people are held accountable if only to make sure any future politicians will think twice about acting like this again.

Every single one of us suffered loss of quality years to some extent because of government actions.

Further actions required:

-no censorship

-open debate

-regular change of personnel in scientific advisory committees to avoid group think and coverups

-stick to pandemic plans made during quiet times and only change if real world data changes.

I am sure I have forgotten something...

The WHO amendments to the IHR and pandemic plan are indeed of great concern.

Over the past few years I have changed my position from thinking a global response would make sense (all countries were crashing around doing their own thing) to thinking that individual decision making will make for a much better outcome. Any global response will not take into account individual circumstances, which will inevitably lead to inhumane and detrimental situations for the people concerned.

I agree how different countries and communities suffer more than others. This was never about health ever as why did they suspend docs who used older safe drugs? To get EUA through there could not be any. No, this was a global d'Etat. Speaking of the sun, the sun is going to kill the global electrical grid. It will probably happen in our lifetime (if you’re less than 70).

The 1859 Carrington Event shows us the power of the sun. We had a near miss about a decade ago, there was a large CME that missed us by about a month. Different timing and we’d all be foraging for food (or long long since deceased).

For me, all of the stuff happening before the Sun hits the reset button for humanity is just entertainment. The only thing that matters is deciding if I want to live in a Stone Age type world or not. I decided that I do, and so I live accordingly.

Re Lula (Brazil): dependence on the state, breeds compliance to the state... This is what is needed for the socialist/communist state to retain control. And turning it around when you are reliant on the state is almost too late (it is so much harder). We need to be vigilant to retain our independence, on an individual level.

This comment is in regards to Miami Dolphins cornerback, Byron Jones', situation.

Men win glory on the field. I didn't make it anywhere, (I am awesome in my memories!!!) but Byron knew, we all know, when they give you a shot or a pill or hand you a helmet, this isn't about fun and games anymore, it is a job and the only quick way to fortune and fame has extraordinary risks. Those that say they didn't know about the riskslied to themselves. Doesn't make the business right or wrong, that is just how things are.

Growing up in the 70s and playing football in the 80s, we ascribed to the Nick Nolte "training" regime in the movie North Dallas 40. Male bravado make some do stupid things. My favorite clip of the movie is below: https://youtu.be/MPLYwO6Iweg
