Amusing to see the demoralized NPCs react to Amnesty's condemnation of Ukraine.

Apparently, War Crimes are just fine if it's "our" guys doing it, though America has operated on that basis for over 70 years so it's no surprise.

Waste water surveillance for infectious diseases is a relatively new metric. The panic over poliovirus in NY wastewater is premature fear mongering. It is possible poliovirus titters in waster water have been present and fluctuating for years. Without consistent data points over time the current finding lacks meaning, accuracy and validity as a predictor of public health risk.

Overwhelmingly meaningful collection, thanks. The filth we as human civilizations have now descended into is potentially legendary even for us. Thank the Facist, totalitarianism which now operates the world. Whew! We are in for quite a ride.

Every day your "Must-Reads" appear is a banner day for me. This may be the single most useful page on the 'Net when you publish it. Many, many thanks. (I know I have said this before, but it really deserves serial accolades.)

sure wish I could open Daily Mail - COVID reinfection rate with treatment Biden is taking is more than 40% - and not 2% as marketed: Paxlovid is thought to suppress immune response meaning body can’t fight off new infection " What does it say about Paxlovid and immunosuppression?I thought the rebounds might be caused by too short of a period of immune suppression together with a vaccinnee's passive immunity (lots of antibodies from recent boostering), so the individual's body's innate immunity doesn't get triggered in a timely fashion and residual viruses (maybe new resistant variants) remain in the body after Paxlovid is discontinued, ready to cause infection again.

The best and worst rated comments on the Daily Mail Paxlovid article restores my faith in humanity a bit.

Edit: Alas, "We are no longer accepting comments on this article." Wonder if they'll be changing the votes next...
