Electric cars still have a future! Uhh...in Canada. Trudeau is still phasing out vehicles with ICE engines in favour of electrics - despite that they simply do not work in Canadian winters - it's too cold here, as anyone who owns one can attest.

The idea of tipping points with climate change seems like nonsense. If there were tipping points they would have occurred in the past, but I haven't heard any evidence of that.
The presidential popularity chart shows one of the past presidents diving down to near zero going into re-election. Carter and Trump failed to be re-elected, and Truman was an underdog, but still, that chart shows like 5% approval. Doesn’t seem right; I wonder which one it’s supposed to be.
"Kerkhove also mentioned that mask-wearing, social distancing and improving ventilation were all “no-brainers” when it comes to confronting the virus."
So "no-brainer" shifts to a more literal meaning.
I really appreciate the Sunday compendium, thanks.
Thank you as ever for the weekly round up of news, an invaluable resource.

I hope we can get rid of this moron. Soon.
