if the the head of Russian armed forces said "Russia has right to strike targets ‘outside Ukraine’," you'd hear NATO wail.

IMHO Excusing escalation is unwise.

Fascia carries memory. Many parts of the body are able to think for themselves and carry on conversations and exchange information with other parts of the body. The indications of intelligence should not restrict it to the brain

My skin can detect and react to: thorns, nettles, thistle, spiny, sharp sticks, and needles... faster than I can say, "Ouch!". Sometimes I take it personal...
