You say satire. I say psychosis.😉

There is no shortage of psychosis. It's in plentiful supply.

Be sure to let her know how you feel .... drive her into a frenzy https://patriciadawnrobertson.com/contact-us/

hahahahaha I just did

I came here to say that.

...let's call the whole thing off!

It's not funny enough to be satire

Expand full comment

I agree, it was too much like I heard on MSM.

Read online.

It was too real.

It creeped me out, knowing there are those after 4 years, still believe like this.

Off to the camps!

"still"? She is getting worse.

Is it ok to laugh at her mental illness? (rhetorical question)

Expand full comment

This is the best take. I'm sure it was intended to be satire but it's definitely not funny.

Expand full comment

I can't disagree.

If I'd written it, it would have been a lot funnier and a lot more obvious that it was satire ... but "if" is neither here nor there, after all as the saying goes, if the dog hadn't stopped to take a shit, it would have caught the rabbit.

That being said, context is everything. I must assume that there being no "satire" warning label would be because regular readers of the Winnipeg Free Press would know it was satire.

To wit, from the author's website: "In Canada, my satirical commentaries, arts profiles, lifestyle features, book reviews and business features have appeared on CBC.ca, in The Globe and Mail, The National Post, Toronto Star, Winnipeg Free Press, Maclean’s, Chatelaine, Canadian Living, Western Living, The Walrus, Quill & Quire, Reader’s Digest’s Best Health and Galleries West."

I find it concerning that here, on substacks such as this one — presumably home of the enlightened — that such an uninformed, mindlessly-triggered lynch-mob mentality as is evident in the comments, can form so easily and eagerly.

There's a lesson here: critical thinking does not take holidays. It's always on, 'cos if it's not, it's not critical thinking.

In which case, if there's any chance of getting this article out into the very much wider world, where readers are entirely unfamiliar with the writer or her background, it would have been much more appropriate to ensure that it was understood to be satire... a single sentence at the end, raising an eyebrow, would have sufficed.

Otherwise, the whole thing read like a rant against us great unwashed.

Instead, she wrapped up the rant with:

Freelance journalist Patricia Dawn Robertson thanks those of you who are vaccinated. She continues to hurl invective on outliers.

If it was intended to be satire, she failed on every level and the result is that it backfired majestically. There isn't a scintilla of satire in the rant, unfortunately.

True.

But so was what I said.

To be doubly safe I suggest this person assume everyone they talk to on the phone to be unvaccinated. From the start of the conversation they should hold their breath to avoid any germs that might travel through the ether.

And what about COMPUTER contacts??? We all know you can get infected from a COMPTER VIRUS!!!! They are full of bugs!!!

Imagine if you are in online contact with someone not vaxed??? ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN!!!!

Expand full comment

When on your computer you need to be cautious of Smith-Corona virus! It turns the enter button into a carriage return! No jab for that (except jabbing the space bar).

Treat with hydroxy-QWERTY-cin.

I am old enough to appreciate that one 😁

Oh, chapeau! 🤣🤣

Zero jabs here and couldn't tell you when the last time was that I was sick. I think my throat was dry once last winter. I couldn't even finish reading this mass of excrement. Also, did the lady who had C 3x from her grandchildren die?? No? Then I don't want to hear about it. People get infections sometimes. That's why God gave us miraculous immune systems.

Expand full comment

She said the old lady isn’t up to date on her boosters. How many? 3 shots? 4? 5? She has been vaxed though and still had Covid three times!! Very effective vaccine. Avoid discount grocery stores and Pierre Polievre. Rush over to a Liberal party meeting.

Expand full comment

Because the quakcine only works if everyone takes it and participate in the psychosis!

Expand full comment

No jabs for me either, everyone seems to have been ill from covid, flu, etc since November, and I have felt great! I have even been in close contact with people with symptomatic covid three times in the last month for over an hour each and not even a sniffle. I am taking my vitamins dutifully though!

Expand full comment

Furthermore wondering how she can assume the cough is from the unvax’d; much more likely to be from the covidiot tribe

Expand full comment

Wonder when she'll blame her jab complications on the unvaxxed.

Probably is already

She is a creative coach. Quote from her website: “Her (My )rates are $150 per hour. If you want to invest more time in yourself, enrol in my Kickstart Program. For $1300, you’ll receive ten one-hour weekly sessions. “

Mmmm- a little bit of life’s irony right there. Pay her, she can help you fulfils all your dreams and hopes, while she goes and hides in her broom cupboard from the unvaxxed. 😂😂

Expand full comment

Bet your sweet life if you sign up to her Kickstart program for $1,300 she won't be asking your vaccination status!

Expand full comment

Now that’s funny.

I learned to write create by being imaginative. I suppose she is quite good at imagining things.

But wouldn't pay her $15 per hr let alone $150. As to kickstart program I have a good idea about what to kick...

...and I have a decent pair of steel toe cap boots, for safety of course. :)

They do write satire, so it may very well be satire. The sad thing is, it's hard to tell.

Expand full comment

Dear Patricia Dawn Robertson, those respiratory sounds you hear are your fellow vaxx'd morons with permanently impaired immune systems. It is your vaxx'd colleagues that are dying in droves, but keep wishing death upon others. The boomerang will come for you in due time. Finally, take a good long walk until your hat floats.

Expand full comment

Pretty sure it’s satire, but there are actually people who feel this way.

“We don’t just vaccinate for self-protection but to protect the vulnerable.”

Let me be clear to these people. F*** you. The only reason I do anything in the medical realm is if I benefit.

Expand full comment

right, I never took a vaccine to save anyone else, that's not how vaccines ever were meant to work UNTIL COVID. Each person determines a benefit/risk ratio and takes it or not. If you take it, you are supposed to be protected. NOT ANYMORE!!!

Now the vaccines cause disease and death that spreads and somehow the logic is "take it to save g.mom" while politicians were discharging sick contagious people from the hospitals to the nursing homes...that makes sense.

It is very poor satire if it is. Personally I think she is just not that bright.
