Partygate, as the name suggests, concerns parties and in particular parties in Downing Street during lockdowns. For those who don’t know no. 10 Downing Street is where the current Prime Minister works and resides, in this case, Boris Johnson. Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, lives and works next door at number 11. Number 10 may look small from the outside but actually comprises of more than 100 rooms.
From March 2020, the UK had a number of lockdowns and until recently some form of restrictions in place. As with most countries, many of these restrictions included who you could and couldn’t visit or numbers of people allowed indoors or outdoors.
It has since transpired that whilst authoring and implementing all of these draconian rules, along with the harsh penalties if the rules were broken, Boris, his wife Carrie, Rishi and other staff at Downing Street had at least 12 parties. At least 50 penalty notices are being handed out to Boris, Carrie, Rishi and others.
The MSM is focussing on Boris breaking the rules and lying when asked if he had broken them. However, the question they should be asking is:
Why was the government desperately trying to scare the public about Covid when they themselves weren’t scared in the slightest?
Were they so stressed and tired of it all that they were happy to risk their lives just to have a few parties or did they know, the whole time, that Covid would mainly kill the elderly and vulnerable so they themselves were perfectly safe. Or perhaps they knew of the potential dangers a lab made virus could pose but had access to an already prepared inhibitor which targeted the spike protein?
If the correct answer is that they knew Covid was not as deadly as being made out, then the MSM should be investigating why they continued to scare the public. Where did the idea come from? Why was it pushed so hard if they knew it was rubbish? Why was no cost/benefit analysis undertaken and if it was why did they continue to destroy the economy?
Another anomaly, which verges into conspiracy theory territory, is why was Boris Johnson partying after he came out of intensive care less than a month previously? Surely you would take it easy for a while after such a big scare? Even if Boris wasn’t bothered, staff would have been shell shocked and scared for their own safety? Politicians and Journalists voiced rumours at the time but they were quickly retracted.
Come on MSM, step up and ask the correct questions.
What questions do you think the MSM should be asking with regard to Partygate? You may not be from the UK but it is almost guaranteed that similar things happened with politicians in your country.

In the US the cases are too many to mention. It has always been "COVID rules for THEE but not for ME". And the excuses are always completely lame: "Well they were so emotional they had to take their masks off". But the emotional plebeians could not, of course. This has been utter BS since the very beginning. With a complicit press, no one that has to be answered ever asks a difficult question. Closest in the US is Peter Doucy from Fox News and even he is sidelined by the answers which are, reliably, stupid/disingenuous/impossible-to-believe but no one ever presses them further.
The British press has a long history of being better at asking the hard questions. It is really sad to see them fall as well.

On a related note, while Trudeau is preaching to the plebs about climate change, he added another carbon tax increase on April 1st, and has been busy jetting back and forth across the ocean, and this week across Canada, including for a surfing stop in Tofino. The fact that the media never asked these questions, and never challenged any of the measures for the past two years is all you need to consider. That tells you everything you need to know. The media in the UK is finished, as it is in the US. Those with any idea of thought behind them know deep down that the MSM is owned.
I never trusted the narrative. I still don't, and I don't think this is over. We've just moved into something else now. I remember back in January this year when everyone felt the tide was turning. Folks were asking 'what's next', and here we are.
Despite Boris' failings, I don't want him to go. He eventually stood up to SAGE, and I really do believe we're in for a worse offering if Labour get in this next election. God help us. More restrictions. The UK will be finished. It almost is.

The conventional wisdom has been that Boris, perhaps more independent and Trumpy in his disposition, was turned into a covid maniac by his illness. I think, however, that he always had a more "elite" mentality, was more than willing to do as he was told and just wanted to do what all the cool western leaders were doing, so it was always going to be covid hysteria in the U.K.
I remember from the time, he was in ICU more as a precaution (of course you would put the top official in the highest care setting available, probably with his own dedicated nurse/respiratory/MD staffing), but he was never intubated or highly unstable. I don't doubt that he was receiving the medications "forbidden" to the rest of us. Effective treatments we know about now could almost be called an antidote, at least if started early.
Wasn't the U.K. the source of the smoking gun government memo that said "we need to maximize public anxiety to increase compliance"(paraphrase)?

In a democracy, the press asking tough questions only matters if the politician in question cares, and the politician only cares if the Party cares and the Party only cares if the people care.
The first question is, do you live in a democracy? Canada is not a democracy, Australia is not a democracy, the US does not seem to be a democracy, and as an American, from what Ive read, I doubt the UK is a democracy.
I don't think it will matter if The Press ask tough questions, the people in power don't care, because they don't have to care, there are no laws, there is only Power.
Lack of other governments condemning asset seizure in Canda and half of the populace cheering it on, prove there is no law in Canada, they are now in a post-law, post-truth, post-scince era. Is it really so different where you live?

Well see, in the olden days but not the oldest days, we had these great things called "fiefdoms." Not too big, not too small, you could ride to the next one over for cards and debauchery whenever you liked.
But that natural competitive instinct meant that someone else was always trying to gobble up your little paradise and eventually we got here. And those great geniuses who created nations discovered that it was a lot harder to control big populations than it was to terrorize a smallish group of serfs into working in the yoke for you until they dropped dead.
So ever since they made countries, they've been trying to figure out how, exactly, you keep scores of millions down at the farm. I mean, even Mao and Stalin, with all their fabulous terror tactics, still had pockets of insidious resistance bursting out of their seams.
But pathogens, man, they're just at a higher level of repressionology. Perfect, you might say. You can't see the little buggers; they might be everywhere...

I just wrote about the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group that came out last year to declare that they were part of the con and regretted it.
It absolutely was and is manufactured fear in order to tear down the remaining notions that we the people have some semblance of power or sway. It was and is manufactured collusion to thrust the new world order, now labeled The Great Reset, forward.

How can people not trust what they see? Remember when the virus was isolated in China and the aerosol sprayers on trucks were fogging the streets? People just falling down mid-stride? Then you see Boris and Obama and so many others completely free from worry. I was told, in the book "The Great Reset" by Klaus Schwab he wrote there will be a pandemic made to appear dangerous, yet in actuality is not?

The class system is alive and well in the UK. In the US even the poor and downtrodden can aspire to be filthy rich, utterly corrupt, political kingpins.

I've been a Truther since April 2020. I can't understand, with the plethora of reasons to question, probe, doubt, and wonder, why so many don't. It's not about intelligence, as in, IQ. So it must be a form of cowardice, or laziness, or ignorance, or all three. As for the ones who become enraged and lose their shit, it appears to be Mass Psychosis, a form of insanity. Apparently this can go on for years, and maybe ever more, which would explain at least one of my family member's insistence on all the bullshit narrative propaganda being "true" all the way back to... dinosaurs, maybe.
It's never been about protecting the populace against Sars-Cov-2 but selling jabs (I shan't call them vaccines) and protecting grant money coming into universities and labs. All the top "experts " have interest in keeping Big Pharma happy, not least Whitty.
