So, ‘freedom of thought’ is included under qualified rights?! Chilling doesn’t even begin to describe this. Another nail in the coffin for individual rights and responsibilities, and toward transferring the rights of many to the few. Wake up, people!

Excellent, thank you.

"So whilst human rights are universal….they’re not really if the courts think you have been a really naughty boy and not thought about others"

This brings to mind the example of "affray" - one of the most egregious pieces of legislation ever invented in modern times.

Say you and I, Naked Emperor, go out for a few pints and end up having a very stupid tussle over nothing, due to a few too many drinks. In the morning we speak on the phone and apologize for being so stupid. No harm done right? WRONG!

A "hypothetical observer" might have deemed our handbags as unconscionable, and therefore, even though no-one wants to press charges against anyone else, the state can still do so anyway.

This reprehensible piece of legislation provides a cornerstone for similar nonsense. I know that Scottish law is separate from English and Welsh law, but one also thinks of Count Dankula and his "Nazi Pug" video - the cops in Scotland had to ask half a dozen Jewish groups if any of them found it offensive in order to press charges. Same thing.

If you are going to have a Bill of Rights, then it needs to be modelled on the US version, not some vague, lunatic Woke nonsense where everyone bricks themselves before leaving their house at the thought of upsetting some idiot by innocently saying/doing something "wrong" (just look at "micro-aggressions" - what used to be polite human behaviour is now unacceptable!).

They want to go down the path of Canada? Good luck! Relative rights are not rights at all.

"I never thought in my wildest dreams, that the day I am now a part of would ever come," lamented Brian Peckford.

If a persons “rights” have to be balanced against the rights of “society” and you know that “society” is shorthand for “government” then that is all you need to know about this “debate”. It is simply a Trojan horse power grab by so-called government under the guise of “society”. 🐒💩

This is exactly what psychopaths suffer from, "semantic aphasia" where they don't understand objective meaning of words and instead twist words to mean something else.

It's pretty much what double speak from 1984 is based on.

Maybe we should deny the rights of psychopaths and sociopaths, or make an empathy test as mandatory for any leadership role in private or public.

These laws are written from a top down government, not by the people for the people. It doesn't have the feel of a democratically inspired bill of rights. Does it include laws that prohibit the government from fear mongering and other psychological abuse by misinformation? How are they to measure what is for the greater good? Here in the US we've had so many false alarms. From anthrax scares that drive us into a long drawn out war, to swine flu, and terrorist plots supposedly foiled or prevented by new laws that require us to take off our shoes at airports and allow the NSA open access to everything we do online. Who monitors and protects people from abusive power structures?

They are waging war on we Brits. For the first time in history, thanks ironically to their Globalism (giving Brits confidence in their resistance to tyranny for the first time also in history), I suspect they will LOSE this war. About frigging time too. Sharpen your spears chaps, they are coming for us, and we must be ready.

This didn't just show up, they want to be able to take anyone's rights at any given time, just by waving that greater good nonsense, who's to decide what is the greater good? Like you said, if they want to force inject everyone, they will use it against you, and the sky is the limit if we ever allow them to alter the universal human rights, they are already established no need for a reform.

I happen to have two interesting constitutions: The Soviet Constitution (in English) and the US Constitution (in Russian).

There is, at root, only one (small?) difference between them: The US Constitution holds that rights are inalienable (that is, cannot be removed from anyone); the Soviet Constitution goes on at length on the duty of the citizen to the State.

I know which I prefer, even in these attenuated times.

I was reading a comment of yours... sedevacantists are hated by Vatican II Church and SSPX types, those that know something terribly wrong but yet fudge and fudge to argue Francis is still Pope. Despicable. Collaborators.

Basically they have desecrated our churches, stolen our name.

I pray Rosary across from "Catholic Churches" asking Mother of God to return faith to these churches... or else have God destroy their churches, fake colleges, hospitals.

And Rome! Another time

So, I don't give a damn if they like me.

They can offer me Nothing. CHEERS!

I lost your comment, if I find it will answer the rest.

Thank you for this article Emperor. I for one will be replying to the consultation. But do you know of any lawyer groups who might be campaigning on this? And have you sent your article to the Telegraph, Spectator, Daily Sceptic etc? As many UK citizens as possible need to know about this, and fast
