Here is an opportunity for the tennis "players" of the world to unite, to stand up to this nonsense, and to simply refuse to play at Wimbledon. Imagine for a moment how many American tennis players would have had to be disqualified decade after decade if this virtue signaling nonsense by Wimbledon were enforced without bias based on invasions, coups, supporting death squads, color revolutions, torture, etc. committed by the virtuous Western nations led by the U.S.

All wars have been covered by the media, often heroically and with distinction. This war, not so much. In fact you could call the Russia-Ukraine conflict the first media war, meaning that instead of reporting on the conflict and trying to understand the facts on both sides, the global media immediately took sides and painted Putin and the Russians as Satan, while beatifying Zelenskyy and the Ukrainians as saints, or rather Gabriel himself. Is this accurate? In total, not at all. I believe what is going on here in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is Orwell vs. Huxley. You may recall that George Orwell and Aldous Huxley were contemporaries and friends. They corresponded frequently and their relationship was marked by an ongoing debate(some would say argument) over which of their dystopian visions, set forth in 1984 and Brave New World respectively, would prevail as the Force Majeure of the end game, as both men viewed the end of western civilization and the triumph of totalitarianism. The competing visions can be summarized as follows:
Orwell/1984: Hard totalitarianism, marked by a police state, a class hierarchy and a triune world system that relies on constant surveillance of the masses and of individuals, a system so refined that even a suspect facial expression caught on the telescreen can result in an individual being ‘disappeared’, just like in Bolshevik Russia, the Soviet State and modern China. Fear, hard coercion and the gulag are what keep society ordered by the ruling class, who are a brutal lot.
Huxley/Brave New World: Soft Totalitarianism, marked by drug induced and genetically engineered compliance to a caste system set out by the State to keep society in order. Sexual indulgence is encouraged by state sponsored mass orgies, along with endless state sponsored entertainment(where the drug Soma is lavishly distributed to keep everyone happy and compliant). There is no moral code, only compliance to permissive State precepts that only require a ‘don’t make waves’ compliance. Just stay in your genetically engineered lane. A carrot and soft stick approach is used to bring the recalcitrant to heel, while real problem miscreants are exiled to distant islands for life, where they are allowed to live “normal” lives.
Putin represents the Orwellian vision of 1984, as does Xi and the CCP. Zelenskyy and the entire Globalist cabal including the US, Western Europe, the UK, and many other countries represent a modified Huxlian vision. This is hard communist era totalitarianism versus the new globalist one world order which is ultimately built on technology(including biotechnology)to control the masses. This is what is at war here. Putin versus the Globalists, not merely Putin versus Zelenskyy. China has not weighed in yet, but we know whose side they are on. This can be viewed as an internecine fight among the bad boys for regional autonomy(Russia) or global dominance(China versus the Globalists Cabal). One thing is clear: this will eventually come down to China versus the western Globalists. This is merely Act 1.

I feel so bad for the players...I guess I think international sports kind of IS a political show. I trained with a Slavic coach when I was young - the coach of Ukranian gold medalist Oksana Baul. I don't know if she was Ukranian or Russian, but everybody spoke Russian and it was in the states and no one cared within the community. However, when I looked into how Russian kids were tracked for sports, and the whole spectical of the Olympics with all the flags...it really does seem like there is some posturing going on there politically. Personally I would love to see international or national or state level groups work together in clusters to solve challenges collaboratively, without any funding from Bill and Melinda gates or anybody like that. More like, who can come up with the best large scale plan to utilize bactera, fungus and algae to break down toxic waste into harmless compounds, WITHOUT genetically modifying them? Who can create the best local gardening campaign to get kids into local regenerative eco-foraging, foresting and farming at a young age, as well as teach professional, working class and older adults the basics of food growing?
Haha, what a bunch of clowns.
Who knows, maybe this is just the start, maybe they'll keep banning countries of orgin until an Englishman can win the tournament.
