And I can then dismiss whatever explanation they have provided regarding the issue involved... helping narrow my search for what might be the true explanation.
They use the art of repetition on the public to get things to stick, this technique is never needed as the truth does not need to bombard the public 24/7.

With the advent of excellent deep fakes and AI we may no longer be able to believe anything we see either. I watched some "coverage" of the 1st day of the Israel/ Giza conflict the other day and they showed a brief bit of a tank moving through snow. That same clip showed helicopters being shot down but the plume of fire and smoke were identical = video game.

Calling for Hamas to be wiped out and air strikes on Hamas militants while trying to reduce any collateral damage and death is another narrative. Thanks for the tips so important to be aware of manipulation no matter the form. I took a journalism class in college several decades ago and one of the first lessons, after learning we should answer the five W’s in the first few sentences, was watch/avoid “emotional” words. We were told our job was to relay the facts which do not need emotion. We were given an assignment to find articles from the local newspaper ( LA Times) with any words that were superfluous to the information or used to engage emotions then we would be able to ascertain the impetus behind the writing. It did not take long even then and it taught 19 year old know it all me a valuable lesson that I have not forgotten and that I still use - find the trigger words and you will know where the bullet is aimed. I truly appreciated the insight and it definitely helped my critical thinking skills. I guess our professor was one of a rare breed of journalists for whom I am grateful.

To chime in here: the pictures on packets of fags do nothing becuase they are not very relatable, and the health-hazards of smoking are not immediately felt, making them more abstract than real.
The death of a loved one is concrete, to the point a common response is "I just can't imagine", meaning emotional overload (not talking about people using such phrases for everything).
What would (maybe) work re: smoking is forcing someone to participate in an autopsy of a chainsmoker, forcing them to assist in opening the chest and plucking the lungs out. Then again, doctors and pathologists used to be smokers too.
The "rubbing your nose in it"-approach has merit, but it doesn't work on its own, was what I was trying to say.

NE, indeed propoganda exists, but this does not make a response of every declaration of war wrong. Your argument sounds like because propoganda exists, that it should make any and all wars unjustified. And if you are saying that real pictures of real injured children is corruptable, then I am afraid everything is corruptable. If everything is seen as propoganda, nothing is true--I refuse to go down this path--one should not get up and go to work in the morning if this is true. Limits need to drawn around this idea of propoganda and its up to every wise individual to understand when they are being lied to and manipulated.

But if, after questioning, it turns out there was no false flag, then great (well still not great but you get my point). So my question then about any of these institutions or media or organizations is are they still organic, democratic, or do their allegiances lie elsewhere? During the Cold War, infiltration of national intel orgs was the prime directive. Has something infiltrated? Where do allegiances lie? It is like a meta thought process I think.

My mind opened up in early 2020 to what the "mass media" was. Before then, I thought it was casuallly corrupt here and there and occasionally biased. But the sheer organisational determination of "propaganda" unleashed in 2020 was so overwhelming, I shut it out completely.
We do not have a TV, stopped reading "major" publications since early 2020 and whenever I come across examples of what is happening in MSM, it just reconfirms that this is an apparatus that exists for nefarious purposes serving others. They are not even self-serving.
I avoid msm for any information. The Israel/Gaza debacle can only be explained by doing a very deep dive. And msm is NOT the place to dive.
