Sure, but to his point on changes without permission. Canada voted Trudeau back in; Israel ousted teflon Netenyahu only to get the next guy who rolled out jabs 3&4; Merckel was leaving anyway. Macron is up next. I honestly don't hold much hope. The sheeple will vote the way they're told to.
Brexit was seemingly a good step in the right direction, but it only revealed we jumped out of the EU Bloc in the World Bloc. Is there any independence anywhere?
Maybe in independent corporates like Tesla (any others? Substack?). And so we need to hope and pray they prevail and their leader (s) aren't corrupted.

I don't recall where/how I first laid eyes on (and opened ears to) Mr Oliver; surely it was a prompt or "suggested video" on whatever-Tube as I searched for (other) voices of sanity in the past two years. I'm in the U.S., and I love his "accent" (of course to a Scots, I'm the one with that peculiar flat, lilt-less accent). Neil is golden-- measured of speech, brave, and way smart. Such a voice of reason --and kindness-- in the chaotic, vicious world we find ourselves in.

My only problem to bring brexit in the mix. I disagree with the notion that certain political ideas are on the same side. For example as an unvaccinated for covid19 I absolutely disagree with brexit. Also I don't believe anymore that any political side would have prevented this madness ("republicans/trump would be better!")
Look at Hungary theoretically speaking there's the most trumpian/'illiberal' government you can find right now in the western world. Result? The coercion and tricks to force you to take the vaccine is beyond ridiculous.
So I think we have to unite at the moment as people who oppose vaccination, who oppose coercion. Then on other things we can kindly disagree.

I first got him confused with John Oliver, the liberal prick on TV. But Neil Oliver is so much more intelligent and common sensical.
The world was undeniably an order of magnitude better off with DJT as President.
Neil is great and I've followed him for a while. His voice is so nice and his views a breath of fresh air.
