As a fellow unvaxxed, I’m so glad Novak won. He’s an amazing tennis player, seems like a solid man and definitely has integrity. Hooray for the unvaccinated! Stand strong!

We have friends and family in the US, Minnesota, Maine and Virginia, we had given up with the idea of visiting ever again and then I noticed two months ago that the covid "vaccine requirement" had quietly been dropped.

No great fanfare, or at least not in the UK... didn't make a ripple. Maybe that's because, according to the BBC, 88% of the population (5% one shot, 7% clean) are "vaccinated" and so therefore it didn't matter any more.

I'm delighted that Novax stood his ground and didn't cave in as his peers (does he really have any?) piled on the pressure "to do the decent thing" and submit to the toxic junk! It must really have hurt Moderna et al when he won. Good thing. The best thing that could have done.

How many people ridiculed and attacked him in the nastiest fashion when he refused to get vaxxed to play in Australia?

It cost him a fair bit but he doesn't need the money, what it cost him was the opportunity to take the record for the most grand slam wins, which he now has anyway.

Hopefully it will be all downhill for Moderna and Pfizer from here.

Pretty much no numbers from MSM can be trusted anymore, the idea that only 7% of UK is unvaxxed is preposterous

Absolutely, BBC is the Disinformer-in-Chief in the UK.

Probably closer to 70% (vaccinated)... but they do have a habit of cherrypicking numbers... maybe 88% of over 90s.

yes, in prof Fenton's look into a heinous bbc docu on the " vacc " hesitant" the beeb had at least presented their own study of 250,000 ppl. Looking at those figures, also divided into age groups, he was able to state that at least 20 and probably 26% of the eligible in England and Wales never had one single v.

in one of his vids he deep dives into the figures from that documentary. ( there's the ons/ nims population figs to confuse things, but their figures were consistent across all groups apart from the unv'd, which could be extrapolated from the population figs.

Yeah, no way are there onky 7% unvaccinated.

1) The 93% are probably based on "cumulative first doses per population" or more specifically "per past population estimate". More than 1% of the population dies every year, presumably more in the vaccinated cohort due to age structure and detrimental effects on health. We have been doing this for 2.5 years. These deaths have to be subtracted from the cumulative doses figure.

2) I estimate that for every 5 to 20 vaccinations that were registered, one individual has not actually received a shot. All of this could've never happened if it hadn't been so common for unvaccinated people to hide behind fake certificates.

I’ve not heard of anyone faking certificates so I think it’s unlikely to be very common at all. All of the people I know who refused the vaxx were proud of it.

I spent well over £1000 on pcr tests so we could travel multiple times - cheaper to do that than get caught with a fake certificate and get fined as well as being deported!

Some of our former friends told us we were stupid to risk death travelling… not so sure they’re quite so vociferous now, with them having stayed at home with their tinfoil hats on while we went abroad 3-4 times a year while all the crap was going on!

I too was offered a free digital certificate by a friend of mine, but refused out of pride. So I hear you.

That being said, consider that you are moving inside a bubble of system critics and idealists and that there is a whole world of people who simply don't care about anything besides being allowed to live their life the way they want to.

I've been dating quite a bit in the past months every single woman I spoke to who was unvaccinated had a fake certificate. Every single one (probably talked to around 10 who were unvaxxed).

I wasn't aware you were allowed to travel with a PCR test. in the UK. This was not possible in Germany.

With or without negative PCR test, it was not allowed to use public transportation for the unvaccinated - not just internationally. Even the local bus was off limits for us. Taxis however were still okay to use, depending on the company afaik.

We weren't even allowed to buy clothes or anything else besides pharmaceuticals and groceries. And believe me, I tried! Oh the humiliation.

It wasn't that draconian in the UK, we were never prevented from using any form of transport even though many people, fascist morons mostly, were calling for all privileges to be suspended for those who refused the jabs. Maybe that's why we didn't need fake certificates and I don't know anyone who actually got one. We did discuss it once and decided it wasn't worth the risk.

When we flew out of the UK in 2021 we had to have negative tests to get on the plane. When we left the UK in July 2020 there was no such requirement, just to wear masks, even on the Channel Tunnel (unbelievably stupid). The rules in France at that time were utter lunacy.

We stayed in a chateau a few miles from Giverny and, being the only couple in the place we were still expected to wear masks! I didn't.

When we went out on the first night for dinner, we picked a riverside restaurant and even though the table was outside next to the garden entrance we were expected to put on a mask to walk 2 metres to get to it. Once we sat down we were allowed to take the masks off. I ignored the demand and walked straight past the waiter and sat down. I think he realised that protesting at what I'd done would have been pretty stupid. I suspect he smiled... but he was, of course, wearing a mask!

Children in my daughter's class - age 12 then - had to wear masks inside their bedroom on the school trip they took even when the door was closed.

One of the children who was exempt from wearing masks was not permitted to go on the trip with his classmates. That was after his seat in class had been surrounded with plexiglass walls for almost a year. He stopped coming to school after that.

I knew that boy since he was in first grade and he just wasn't the same anymore when he eventually returned in 2022. Just went from being very lively to being introverted and quiet. Still is.

In the circumstances you were in, and Austria, locking people in their homes was utterly disgusting. I can certainly understand why many would consider getting fake certificates. Very definitely a throwback to the 1930s!

Expand full comment

Absolutely. I lost everything during that time because I wouldn't roll with it. I wouldn't hide and I wouldn't stand by and watch while all my friends and family members remained silent.

One of my life long best friends wouldn't allow me into his restaurant anymore. After I hooked him up with the best cook money can buy and a bunch of handymen who helped him build his place for no profit. At the same time, the day my wife left me she uttered this sentence: "I want a husband I can go out to dinner with".

That was the scariest part for me. Not the stupid government rules, but seeing people I loved for many years live by these rules without questioning them.

I found out that my entire life was a lie.

I’m very happy and proud of Aaron Rodgers (New York Jets now, formally of the Green Bay Packers) for never caving to the powers that were and resisted the vaccs.

Kylie Irving basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA stood his ground also. Cheers to those three and all who stood with them, as did I.

It must have been a challenge for Disney owned ESPN to have to report on it - The Russian Vs The Anti-Vaxxer!!

Many now are saying that Novak is the greatest of all time. This puts him in the class with Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Pele and a few others who dominate their sport for many years, His determination and commitment to personal health and freedom make him also one of the greatest freedom fighters as well. I was so glad to see him win yesterday. And I won a few bucks by picking him to win the tournament in advance.

Great news; slowly but surely people who either got the shots and regretted doing so or refused the shots and are ecstatic about their decision are making the news in the media. Couldn't happen at a better time since they're ramping up restrictions in light of the emergence of the "election variant."

Such good news in a gloomy world, great victory for Novak and yes what irony to have the competition sponsored by "Big Pharma". Couldn't be better. He's such a wonderful example of what can be attained if you stick to your principles and do what is simply right.

I never really liked the guy. I did for a year or two as he stood up to the vaccine pressure which I admire him for. US champion or not he is one of the few to stick it to the medical mafia.

Perhaps the ex Communist past has made these folk a lot less trusting of govt.

Such a vindication to see Novak win the US Open, as also the Australian Open. A champion who is smart and knows deceit when he sees it.

Those restrictions didn't come from the US Open organizers. It was the US government.

What I think is US Open decision is to remove the Russian flag from the Russian players. So stupid.
