Basically we are gripped by one of the most readily identifiable episodes of top down insanity ever imposed. From the mealy mouthed moralistic statements of the morally compromised (heads of state, “royalty”, WEF/Bilderbergers, corporate beasts, middle manager types) we get pure insanity. The fact it is ever identified as sanity or common sense is the most worrisome part. Those who identify insanity as sanity are severely compromised and dangerous.

Social media is the arena of the ever-escalating arms race of virtue-signaling. “You’re closing checkouts? Well, we can top that, we’re going to CANCEL FLIGHTS! Because we’re good people! Obviously better than you because we’re going farther in our expression of [insert faux sentiment here] and doing even MORE! Proof of our virtue lies in our disregard for the consequences others have to endure.”
It’s how so many “issues” ascend to dizzying heights (plunge to dizzying depths?) of absurdity, how the bizarre is normalized.

I don’t know a single grief stricken person! When the news came of her death, I phoned my 84 & 90 year old parents to see if they were OK. My dad said his back was still painful but no mention of the Queen. I’ve observed the odd public show of pictures and flowers on fences but everything carries on as normal. If we were to believe the MSM and business we are all devastated and need time off to watch the funeral. I wonder how many will.

I'm still seeing lots of folks wearing the face diapers. You can't convince these people that they may be creating future respiratory problems for themselves by restricting airflow to the lungs. They may be even setting themselves for cancer too. And I know people who already have latent TB, bronchitis and asthma. But I doubt they'll ever breath any fresh air again outside their homes.
There is no need to wonder why humanity as a whole is more sick and diseased than generations past. Most of the time, by following bad medical advice along with taking the fake medicines. These are the two main things that have caused never-ending perpetual disease epidemics. I almost forgot about the biological weapons.

Thank you for acknowledging this - it is difficult to watch the enforced synthetic "national grief" take hold and see it get lapped up so easily here. The lust for lockdown is still there in so many people.

As an American I get the mourning for such a beloved figure. Although it's not the same magnitude, I remember the eight-hour long lines to pay respects when President Reagan passed and the sense of I loss I felt regarding such a monumental figure.
However, nothing shut down and no one was inconvenienced by the "mourning" process other than perhaps the mourners themselves. There is something deeper going on here, I suspect it's normalization of the "lockdown" as a fixture of daily life. It started with Covid, now the Queen's mourning, next it will be a flu wave, then a criminal on the lose, and ultimately climate. People are being conditioned to put their lives on hold at the whim of the government.

Nothing captures the spirit of inequality quite as well as imposing lockdowns to share the unparalleled grief of losing someone shy of their 100th birthday.. Royal live matter most!

To a lot of English/ British people this is a big deal, maybe they're not crying in the streets but they respect the 70 years of service she gave and how she steered the monarchy through some difficult times. No she wasn't perfect, but did her upmost to preserve the monarchy and modernize it during her reign. The Royal family still bring in way more tourist money than they expend and continue to be held in high regard within Britain. State funerals are very rare and everyone given the opportunity to view it if they wish to do so.

I wonder if everyone will be happy to participate in a similar mourning when charles will die.
If people say not then they should also rethink their current stance. I 'understand' the queen was the 'gangan' of everyone but our idea of monarchy shouldn't be based on perceived kindness.
Went out with a group of business people. They had never heard of the Great Barrington declaration.
They had never considered lockdowns were not a good idea.
They had never questioned the efficacy of the vaccines.
Basically they had never questioned or educated themselves.
So I told them...

Speak for yourself. Im gutted about dead princess Eliza. Im going to need at least twenty years off work to recover.

Will the flights be suspended midair?

Is there a GoFundMe account for the Queen? Whenever someone’s death is reported in the news, there is usually a GoFundMe set up.
The pubs will be open though and it's a bank holiday!
I'd rather masses of emotionally incontinent twats weeping about the queen than masses of manic covidistas shouting at me for not wearing a mask!

Oh, gimme a break. Seems like a normal response to me.
And anything that reduces bicycle traffic is welcome—may the bike rack prohibition last long enough to flatten the tires.
