There is nothing shameless about it. Without any motivation it is very difficult to spend this much time to research all the things not to mention the depression that people get while going through all this insanity.

"Nothing shameless..."? LOL You think it's shameful? I know you don't think that, and it's making me laugh, so thanks for that! I am trying to gently tease you, hope you don't take it wrong... xo

You are right, that's why I did a more positive post to see how that went down!

“You are worth it.” That line isn’t just for the L’Oréal commercial. Only been reading your content for couple of weeks and love it. Last year I gave up my cable/MSM (good riddance!) and am now using the $120/mo to support/donate. I did this for purely selfish reason. It made feel so good to actually take some action in my stance to not contribute to the people who are causing so much harm to our society. I wish there was an option offered to tip substackers for any amount as a one time tip or even $2-$3/mo. Any amount I’m sure is appreciated . YOU are appreciated. Thank you NE.

Thanks Audrey. Yes the tipping idea is a good one.

So let’s ALL contact Substack and request it. It’s a win win for everyONE. Let’s take our pent up angry/sad energy from this mess in in a different direction!

Brilliant idea. Audrey, there are so many brilliantly smart people on Substack. Including subscribers.

No problem!

I love your substack and would love to subscribe / support you and many other writers and here comes my problem. At 5$/mo it seems like nothing but when you have 10+ to subscribe to suddenly becomes quite substantial or you have to be able to decide who to support.

Substack needs a fee-based system...I would do maybe $30/month if everyone I subscribed to got some. But I'm over 50 substacks...just can't afford that.

That's a good idea, I'm sure they'll do that at some point.

Completely understand!

We’ve done the free stuff and it got us the cesspool of Facebook and Twitter. Your writing is worth every penny. Thank-you NE.

I became a founding member after the first piece I read, and have not regretted it for a moment. Why a founding member? Because I feared that without enough support, the Naked Emperor would disappear -- one has to eat. If I could help prevent that, it was good for me and for all of the others who learn from/enjoy these pieces.

Those of you on the fence...you will feel that you have paid for something worth the money. Not much of that with most of the media anymore which I have largely dropped in support of Substackers.

Thanks for writing. Hope you do it for a long time.

Boy, I've got a few paid substacks, and many other places I donate to. I'll see what I can do. Please recognize that you're helping so many preserve and sustain freedom, and cutting through the BS. I DO share your articles frequently, and link to you in other substack columns.

Keep up the good work!

Oh, how I would love to send you oodles of cash. I very much enjoy your letters, and if/when I ever see income again, yours will be the first subscription I pay for. Cheers, m'dear! I do hope you'll continue to allow us poverty-stricken big-mouths to continue to participate!

Ha ha thanks! Yes, ideally I'd make every article free but it's a fine line to provide value for subscribers.

Fair enough, I totally understand. Cheers!

I’ve looked through substack site and I don’t see any navigation help towards asking/suggesting a question - can they offer a tipping choice like a one time amount anytime someone feels like giving or $2-$3/mo for those who can’t afford a regular mo fee or who want to support others but just can’t support everyone every month?? Please let us know. Maybe if enough of us request, they will offer more choices.
