If you don't sign up for it (within the next three weeks), you lose most of your banking privileges. As in, no more Internet banking, instant payments or use of any bank cards. For now, you'll still be able to write cheques and withdraw money at a teller window. For now.
So that's an issue. Would you consider bitcoin? I know substack doesn't support it, but I wouldn't mind chipping in a bit when I can, and I'm probably not the only one.
