I read his book “Weapons of Mass Instruction” and used it heavily in my chapter on education located here: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/origins-of-modern-education

As a millennial, when you read his works and see how education has affected you, you begin to see how you were “set up to fail”: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/how-millennials-were-setup-to-fail

Thanks for bringing awareness to a wonderful soul in Dr. Gatto. Much appreciated!

This book was a game changer for me. Read it in one afternoon, the day before I knew I had family coming who disapprove of the fact that I didn’t put my kids in school. I was armed with the best responses. They’ve left me alone since. I now buy this book as gift for friends with kids. 🤷‍♀️ silent revolts can be pretty enjoyable.

I remember reading about James Michener's start in life. He said his adoptive Quaker mother used to read the Bible to him and the majesty of the King James Version language helped to inspire his lifelong devotion to writing.

Shakespeare works well too, of course.

This book gave me the confidence in my choice to home school my sons (now young adults who finished last few years in “regular” high school). Best years of my life and pretty sure some amazing foundations and memories for them.

The elected dictators love a zombie herd. Look how easy it was for them to do the unimaginable during the covid plague era. We'll see the full effect of the dumbing down when these elected dictators want more wars.

A book written in the 70's, about how a 'zen like' indigenous tribe raised their children in Venezuela, has much to teach us about the importance of the first 2 years of life. And science is catching up to support this approach. The book 'The Continuum Concept' was written by Jean Leidloff, but I don't know if it is still in print.

John Holt, author of Why Children Fail, has interesting ideas about unschooling. I also like the classic ‘For the Children’s Sake’ by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, available on internet archive.

Schooling, or education ?

At AS Neill's UK school 'Summerhill' the kids didnt have to attend the

provided lessons, yet none failed the state's tests...

Read Neill's 'Summerhill: A Radical Approach to Child Rearing' and you'll

definitely begin to wonder why schooling is compulsory...

Gatto has made the point that before the US government made schooling

compulsory, classrooms consisted of mixed age groups, and the older

kids often became mentors of their younger classmates; he offered that

such explained why kids {Q's were higher before compulsory schooling

used kids ages to separate them into classes...

Could it be that the compulsory mass vaccination program for US children has any involvement in the (damaged) neuro-development of a whole generation of US citizens?

Here in New Zealand for years, it's been illegal to dock tails of dogs.

It's because dogs use their tail to message their emotions/feelings towards other dogs.

With humans it's their facial expressions that show these emotions.

Wearing a (useless) facemask prevents babies and (not just young) people to see these important expressions.

Psychologically these masks have to be an incredible hindrance to understand and connect people as there is therefore little or no understanding and could cause friction between people.

Right on, Tony! I had neglected to mention that very important terrible effect! Good analogy...!

Yes, and wearing oxygen depriving, carbon dioxide intensifying masks on their faces for hours each day did not help their Neurons either! It is amazing they still function at all with that kind of oxygen deprivation:

Here is a excellent, although Lengthy Study:

Thanks for the recommendation and I'd say the response in the comments suggest that many of us in your audience feel strongly about the misnomer that is the education system.

On the subject, I would strongly recommend School, No Place for Children (https://www.abebooks.co.uk/9781978370036/School-Place-Children-Wake-Up-Call-1978370032/plp)

I know the author, David Adelman, personally and he's a passionate advocate for children and learning.

I recommend Cathy O'Brien's Trance-Formation of America, in which she explains that Reagan/Bush introduced what they called "global education" as part of the Satanists' plan for the New World Order.

Yes, they're ALL Satanists.
