They have no intention of allowing flying later. Herding the herd, normalising the feeling that you are and will be herded like animals while the shepherds do as they please.

I hate how these last two years I'm really understanding the phrase "ignorance is bliss."

Can you imagine believing that you live in a rational world where we're banding together to fight climate change, with a hopeful bright Star Trek future, where you could have a utopia if not for those dirty right wingers, anti-vaxxers, and climate deniers.

vs.

We're looking at medieval surfdom 20 years from now because we've been in an Orwellian nightmare since before the 50s, but since we live in a heavily propagandized world we were constantly told we were free, we are enlightened, we should feel proud of ourselves. We don't know the truth about everything; we're lining up to get poisoned shots, wearing masked, being asked to believe contradictory things, and please don't think for yourself or you're a narcissistic idiot - how dare you question the high priests of science! You'll believe what you're told, get your shots, freeze in the winter, consent to being robbed of everything you own, and be happy about it! Or else be sent to a quarantine camp for healthy people. Truly smart people are the mentally ill and must be silenced.

Eat your junk food, get your shots, and enjoy the next Marvel film in your pod. Humans are just hackable animals; we've got a surplus population of useless eaters and the best we can do for them is keep them happy with drugs and video games; or turn them into robots or batteries.

Correct, this will not apply to private jets. In fact, the EU has exempted Private jets from Carbon levies because they have been classified as "Business efficiency tools". So yes, more rules for thee but not for me. Do you think sombody might notice the hypocrisy? Fine but any criticism will not be allowed in MSM!

This should wake the normies up...maybe. Here’s what you get when you impart info: oh well I don’t travel short flights anyway.

When I try to talk to my friends about it, they haven't heard a word of any of this stuff and just think I'm an asshole for questioning climate change. They really believe it's altruistic and that even if the scientists are wrong, we should do something about climate change anyway just to be on the safe side.

It shocks me how completely unaware the average person is. It seems so obvious what's going on since the elites aren't keeping their plans secret, but the hope of waking the normies is dismal at best.

The important point is they could care less about climate change. This is all about power and control, the Totalitarian Neo-Feudal state. If they really cared about climate change they would promote Nuclear power, they don't. Proof positive.

And also, why are there no tree planting campaigns? Don't trees consume that poisonous carbon stuff?

I'm considered weird for questioning climate change but my close family (and my MP) know I was right about government "handling" of covid. Ummm, perhaps Pete is right about this too?

I fully agree we need to clean up our act; waste less, reduce pollution etc but this CO2 obsession is bonkers. Typical human hubris and arrogance.

It’s not the Brexit people voted for not even close.

Controlled opposition ‘… a good general definition is “someone who pretends to oppose the establishment while covertly serving it.” Lenin said, “The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.” Informants are an aspect of controlled opposition, and controlled opposition is probably used by all governments, most certainly the United States. Progressives and Communists, including the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), use controlled opposition as one of their most powerful tools.

Now with the benefit of hindsight I’ve increasingly come to the conclusion the globalists installed one of their own on the head of leave, fairly late in the campaign, remember his ‘he wrote pieces for the Telegraph’ then plumped for Leave, I’m beginning to wonder if that’s what happened during the referendum campaign, sidelining Farage, who had pushed the topic so long, and to the point of a vote on it, and on the off chance (or private polling) showed a possibility Leave might win, they had control of what came next. And then by an admittedly circuitous and calamitous route, lead the UK back, not just to the EU, because I suspect many Remainers don’t realise that’s not the destination, and many will be just as horrified when the realise where both groups are being led to.

Take a lot at what’s been announced to be trialled in Oxford, ‘climate lockdowns’ “oh but you’re allowed 100 days travel outside your open air 15min (prison), it can be as gilded as you like, and it’s just like the covid lockdown (lockdown a term synonymous with prisons), it’s house arrest. And it won’t stop there. It’s so obvious now.

‘They’ are going for it. They are all in. Those ‘conspiracy theories’ are all slowly coming true. A good deal of them they’ve told us what they are going to do and even published it on various websites. The only thing they don’t tell you is the real reason they are doing it, and it’s not about climate change.

I could tolerate being robbed, greed as a motive, I can at least understand that. Wouldn’t be happy about it. Would like to think many would oppose it. What I’m having trouble with is the distinct possibility that the state, every country, might be actively, wittingly or unwittingly, intent on destroying vast swathes of their populations. And the majority appear to blissfully unaware, or in denial. Or maybe I’m losing my mind. But a lot of what I read and watch seems to be pointing down a very dark slope.

Personally, I rate trains as the most civilised form of travel (with the exceptions of overcrowded British ones). Trains can, in those countries like France where they are cheap, punctual and fast, be a great way of getting from A to B *and* seeing the landscape in between. In this digital world where everything is always immanent, the pace of land-based travel retains a sense of the movement and changes of a journey, the changing scenery letting you experience the distance you have come from your point of origin. As my waxing lyrical suggests, I am rather fond of train travel. Flying is something I only do if I absolutely have to, if there is no viable alternative. Why anybody in their right mind would choose to go through the indignity of what passes for post-9/11 air travel (security checks, queues, cattle class treatment on so-called budget airlines) when instead of a half hour in the air that actually adds up to 3 and a half hours of associated faffery, they could hop on a TGV and be there in 2 and a half, is beyond me. Nonetheless, I uphold your right to choose, or to paraphrase I may disagree with you over your idiocy in choosing plane over train but I will defend your wish to do so.

Making this crap work in a continent sized country like the US may prove to be a bridge to far.

I have already noticed some pushback against this crap and even with the Dems supporting it I’m hoping that we can avoid the worst of these insane policies.

Also, the American people are used to, and expect, a rising generational standard of living.

I’m not sure if they will tolerate an ever declining one.....

When you make the government your parents they can take away your shit. And unlike your real parents (hopefully), they hate you.

And this term "sustainable" annoys me greatly. To the best of my understanding, it means "using stuff that we won't run out of at some time in the future", no no oil, but wind and sun. But why should we have to rely on "sustainable" resources? The good old non-sustainable resources have served us quite well to this day. Should we never have used them because they're not "sustainable"? These fucking clowns. Oh well France, just be happy that you can still use trains for now.

If anyone thinks Klause Schwab and the rest of these fuckbag lizard people care about anything other than control and power... well, may we all get exactly what we deserve.

Why are we tolerating this nonsense? The Chinese/India aviation growth in the next few decades will totally dominating global aviation. They will do absolutely nothing about it!

The only viable approach, if they believe in their green religion, is to impose 1-child policy on the Africa/India continents. But they won't do it.

They are unserious activists, if they even have any self-awareness.

Question is has China, India and Russia, and the BRICS countries opted out? Trying to opt out? Or is Russia playing a role, of the bad guy, as controlled opposition in a great game? You might say ‘but come on, there’s a war going on in Ukraine, no country would sacrifice thousands upon thousands of its citizens like that, and all that treasure as well’, and ordinarily I’d tend to want to agree with you. But let’s suggest we have an elite in each country, who have got together and realised that rather than fighting wars with each other to steal each other’s shit, better to agree just to steal all the wealth left in the working and middle classes in their own countries and divide up the spoils, some of whom who might really believe the world is over populated, and then the rest are psycho/sociopaths, who have no problem sacrificing ‘use eaters’ they no longer have use for, injection, starvation or war, does it really matter to them?

I mean it’s a crazy idea, I know.
