The history books will eventually get all this sorted, but the truth is swimming against a stronger current than it has ever encountered(in history). The challenge is so much greater because of the sheer volume of daily disinformation disseminated at everyone’s fingertips. But here is the bottom line, penned by William Penn in 1668 : “Those people who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.” Our problem is this, not the pathogen.

I was one of those people. Me and my whole family in Las Vegas got sick in late November 2019. Both my girls missed about a week of school and it was the worst what I thought was a flu bug that I'd had in 10 years: about two weeks of hacking cough and fever. I haven't had as much as a sniffle since then. My brother in Toledo, Ohio said his whole family was sick similarly in December 2019. I knew the narrative was fake from near the get go: here in Thailand (I flew here via Beijing New Year's Eve 2019) we had 57000 tourists from Wuhan specifically before the border was shut. Yet somehow no cases until some Italian guy brought it in March...

I think the reliance on Drosten’s test was the launchpad for the horror show. Part of me hopes this could be proved somehow so that we can absolutely destroy the idea of “pandemic control” outside of “if you are sick, stay home”. Thanks for the insights as always!

Autumn/Winter 2018 is my 'guess'. Almost everyone had a tickly cough that wouldn't go away. This adds to the effect in 2020 being so low because probably 30-40% had immunity already...of course totally unprovable because a majority were jabbed with no antibody test done.
