Most worrying comment was “ Novak didn’t want to complain about the detention centre because he was there for 7 days and some people have been there for years but it wasn’t pleasant;” people had been there for YEARS!! WTF?! And he didnt want to say anything ?!

Was there a standing immigration rule for detaining him and depriving him of his freedom for a week? I know they are power grabbing authoritarians - so besides that.
Interesting they confiscated his phone.

There’s an old saying:
“A lie can make it around the world 10 times before the truth can get its’ pants on”
This was true before Corporate Journalism became corrupt propaganda and political narrative. Imagine today. Our mainstream media now seem to believe their job is to launch the lies and keep them in perpetual low earth orbit, while censoring the truth with a self-declared dress code.
So now the lies make it around the world 100 times, or 1,000. And where is the truth? Locked in the dressing room.
It is a testimony to how critical the Fourth Estate has been to maintaining fee and open societies, and what can happen when it is all corrupted.

I read the article the BBC posted about Novak. Throughout it they sprinkled their propaganda “safe and effective - consensus is settled” nonsense to make sure that nobody listened to him and actually made up their own minds. If you can’t stop free speech, try stopping free thought.

When they knew he wasn't infectious because of the PCR and/or antigen testing, they should have relented their absurd tyrannies, following rules that make no sense because if he's not infected, then he won't infect others, and we all know you can spread it if vaccinated.
