Spanish Flu was pre-antibiotics and after 4 years of world war, which left most people in the developed world malnourished after the effects of unrestricted U-boat warfare and naval blockades. It should not be the justification for a pandemic preparedness industry. The only trillion dollar threat is Bill and his friends.

Meanwhile our continued high rate of excess deaths attracts no attention, no funding, no collaborative mega army to combat it. Bill Gates is likely seeing a big chunk of his trillion dollar estimate going directly into his own coffers. There's no money in health, only in sickness.

Remember Gates is a programmer and thinks like a programmer. Only difference is he got very lucky and made a boat load of money. But he still thinks like a programmer.
It seems to me that this was the approach that China used to try to curb Covid. Welding doors shut and locking down mega cities like Shanghai for a month. That's the kind of power Gates wants and respects.

Love the firefighter analogy 😂. So true. Reminds me when a neighbour alerted me to a leaking petrol tank in my driveway. I called the breakdown people and they said they would come out but I had to alert the fire brigade. 2 tenders turned up with blue lights. All this for a very small leak. They put bollards all around the house perimeter, stopped pedestrians walking past, disconnected the battery and we all waited for the AA man. When he arrived he said the tank was too full for him to drain so could my husband drive it to a local garage? The firemen removed the bollards, reconnected the battery and waved off my husband. What drama! They really did remind me of bored Boy Scouts. But I do like a fireman in uniform 😂

This is a deja vu moment. Following 911 and the anthrax incidents the Bush administration funded public health education programs for emergency preparedness. Within 8 years the program was canned by the Obama administration. Our “experts” just can not help themselves, they have to create more corps as a solution for their lack of evidence based planning.
