It’s very difficult to read this account, however professional and eloquent Craig Murray is, without feeling despair.

On the one hand are vast war crimes deliberately and enthusiastically perpetrated by the dregs of society who were rewarded and honoured for their deeds. On the other hand is one innocent man who tried to do good and is now being tortured.

I feel like a pervert voyeur for reading and knowing this and being unable to do anything useful to remedy it.

But, thanks for posting – we have to know what a hypocritical country we are.

Reading and knowing IS "doing something good", in and of itself, IMHO....please feel your feelings, acknowledge and honor them, then let them go. Thus, you are best positioned to act in a logical, rational, effective manner, whatever and however that may manifest for you.... Applied to our global overlords, "hypocritical" is an understatement. They are human evil personified, but WE THE PEOPLE have God on our side. IMHO. Blessings, and have a good weekend!....

Thank you so much - most kind.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend too.

It's indeed rare to encounter such a careful and sensitive description of something so ugly. The author does everything to assure us that he "was really there" & his writing good enough -- way good enough -- that I can also be persuaded to share his optimism.

But I'm reminded of those imprisoned by the Bolsheviks, whose writings managed to survive, though they, themselves perished in the Gulag. They expressed persistent hope in something referred to as "Article 58" in the Soviet constitution, if I remember the number correctly. But whether or not Article 58 would be applied in an individual case was entirely in the hands of the three who sat in judgement.

I have to agree with Bill in encouraging you, since I often have to apologize for my own attention to things I can't do anything about. It's invariably better to understand as much as possible of such horrible news.

And to bury one's head is so much trouble!

Thank you so much for responding and empathising.

Yes, history repeats itself and some never learn the lessons.

I guess we each can only do the best that we can - at least we try.

Wishing you peace.

exceptionally well argued case, and Craig Murray is always a delight to read. It's very difficult to discern all the shifting sands of what the cabal are doing here with this case in particular ... why did it begin, really? why is it dragging out? what purpose does all this serve the cabal? I take nothing at face value at this point.

Yeah, I hadn't seen Craig Murray's writing before this article -- that anyone can pick up so many "peripheral" details and make them part of the focus on his main subject is wonderful; such details are testimony to his observations on the horrible matter at hand.

Part of the answers to your questions are: "The British judicial, court, & legal systems"....If this case was playing out in a different country, it would be unfolding differently. So its hard to tell whether a specific person or action is normal routine, or has some cabal influence. I think the cabal has BOTH much less, AND much more power than we realize or give it credit for. Sometimes one, sometimes the other. The cabal has common interests which enable it to act in concert, but there is NOT 100% agreement among individual cabal members. This is an unavoidable weakness of the cabal. And, WHICH cabal are we talking about? All of us commenters here can be seen as forming our own "counter-cabal". Our words here are OUR acts of engaging against the cabal. The better our words here are, the better conversation we create, and so the more benefit we bring to give to the world.....In these ways, we honor the sacrifice of Assange. Keep up the GOOD WORK! Thank-you!....

The American revolution was started with just 1% of the population, they in turn had 3% cheer leaders around them ( us ) who in turn persuaded 15% to follow them, that’s it. The rest were just sheep that followed on there were even lots of them that were actually against it but the inertia was too much. This is where we are now, snowball is rolling and it’s unstoppable…
