Whilst I am in the middle of writing something more substantial, a quick reminder to never forget the insanity that overtook the world in 2020. No, it’s not parody, it was an actual headline (in the Science section) and actual advice.
Pre 2020 I would have laughed but now I am positive that thousands of people sang ‘Ha**y ‘Irthday to you’ because they were told to. And whilst they were spitting out large droplets whilst using the letter ‘D’ in ‘birthday’ they didn’t think perhaps this is getting a bit silly now. Instead they thought they were saving the world and got triggered by anybody who sang the song properly.
In that case, I must be responsible for the whole disastrous pandemic - I never stopped shouting '*ollocks!' and '*iss' - for several years.
So sorry.
Thinking has become too difficult for too many making them putty in the hands of evil doers.
