I get into a lot of trouble because of my personality type of Advocate (INFJ-T). People get mad at me because I point things out that they don't want pointed out and then blame me. It is not easy believing in right and wrong and wanting justice. I have been vilified for doing the right thing because it made other people look bad, or at least in their own minds they looked bad and thus defamed me to try to discredit me so others don't see what they have or have not done.
Slowly some awareness is dawning I have observed, shame so much damage has already been done. Justice will come in it's own time, I'm a great believer in Karma which will ripen when required.

This is wonderful. You are doing a terrific job educating a group that is much more likely to develop a deep interest in a valuable topic than nearly any other population sub-group.
This is especially true for INs, who generally grow up wondering, what the hell is up with others, and why don't I understand them and why don't they understand me? I side with Keirsey on this, who posited that each INxx is only 1-1.5% of the population; 4-6% total. We are truly different, because we think differently. (Making iNtuitive leaps and being unafraid to challenge accepted "knowledge" are just two of those differences, among many others.)
I discovered Type and Temperament three decades ago and have used it as an adjunct in finding my wife, in hiring and assigning tasks for employees, and in improving communication with clients. I have fun with it in watching certain shows, figuring out types of many characters, which makes sense of what they say and do (I think the great writers iNtuitively know this).
It is the single most valuable tool for understanding healthy human behaviors extant. I encourage your readers, the perfect group for this, to delve deeper.

Another INFJ here, although I have also been tested as INTJ. Intuition is the key to this group. We can read between the lines and aren’t simply going to swallow the messages repeated throughout the media- we know things aren’t right and we’re here to help make a difference.

I missed your survey too but I am also an INFJ-Advocate! I bet you have a lot more of these personality types as subscribers since some of us missed the survery. Thanks for sharing this, it's very cool.
Governments/media basically use the number of 65% of the people will believe what they are told. I noticed once we hit that number with people voluntarily Covid vaxxed is when North America brought in the vax mandates.
They have duped us recently with covid, Ukraine war, climate crisis, etc., and aided by censorship in all media.
The answer? Idk. Encourage people to read from non main stream sources before making decisions? Encourage critical thinking skills being taught in schools?
Governments have agendas and sadly abuse “the feeler” types with bad ideas that don’t make sense in the long run.

Perhaps what we are seeing are those going along with and promoting the narrative being more extrovert and using the excuse of a crisis to promote themselves rather than question what they are actually supporting

Thanks for running this little 'experiment' and providing some analysis. Somehow, the concept of personality testing has passed me by until now but it has left me pondering about whether the factors assessed to determine the results within each of the 4 categories are immutable. My instinct is that personality traits are largely immutable but environment may influence certain things and such traits could then possibly change over time and circumstance. I guess it's a variant of the 'nature vs nurture' debate. Really not sure but I'll certainly be exploring this further.

I'm not surprised as most things that require nuance don't fit well into the sensing type paradigms. The 75% S in the world leads to a lot of interesting siloing of knowledge and viewpoints .
Very interesting seeing not only do introverts are the majority among the counter-narratives subscribers but also that the rarest type INFJ heads the pack.
Your survey is helping me understand better what could be the reason why some of my friends/family fell for the narrative and why some didn't. I even question myself.
It's not 100% but it does seem to be case that those I know who are extrovert were less likely to question the narrative.
This is great analysis. It helps to explain so much about people's thinking and why as an INFJ-A I felt so at odds with so many people, family and friends. during the last few years. It didn't alter anything I thought was right, in fact it convinced me I was on the right track. We often feel "at odds" with the world and we care about integrity so I knew what the truth was and what lies were being pushed. I found like-minded people in many different ways (including this newsletter) so I felt I belonged eventually to a small group of people who were truth seekers like me. Really enjoyed this article so much.

Wise words as it is probably never when we expect it but always at the right time. In the meantime we do what we can in our own way.

Funny. “Thinking” vs “feeling” types….
Lol. That’s the problem in the world….. too many emotional decision makers! Lol.
These are the people the main stream media and government propaganda targets to sway opinions and get their narrative out there. Lol.
I’m sure this comment will lure a negative comment back in response from a “feeler” who will take it personally. Lol.
I don’t know what the answer is.

Enjoyed taking the test and reading about my personality type. Thanks for introducing this to me.

Interesting. I didn't see the poll and would fall into your most present group: INFJ.
Thank you.

I also did a similar dive into personalities a while back too.

I'm way late to the game here, having just now read your terrific article. Just want to add that I'm an INFJ. Love your stack!
Interesting. Missed your poll. Tested ENTJ.
ENTJ here also
I think NE is wrong as recently ENTJ became the rarest of the personalities.
Trust an extrovert to want to be the rarest! Only joking, INFJs are supposedly rare anyway, if not the rarest.
INFJs also very rare!

2021 to 2024: From "Revenge" Splurging to Forced Frugality
After all, "they can always print more money." That's always the solution until it becomes the problem.
