Why Lockdowns WILL Happen Again

A trip down memory lane

Will lockdowns ever happen again? Some reasons given for why they won’t:

• People won’t be fooled again, they have seen how damaging lockdowns were;

• On reflection, transmissible viruses can’t be contained by restricting social mobility;

• Trust in what the government and experts tell us has evaporated;

• They cost too much money, we wouldn’t be able to afford it again;

• Disrupting children’s education had a catastrophic effect;

• Governments and experts will learn from inquiries and prepare better for next time;

• Too many people have ‘woken up’;

• etc;

• etc.

If we go on the basis that lockdowns only existed to encourage vaccination, rewind 10 years (from the start of the pandemic) for the main reason why they WILL happen again.
