Today's Must-Reads - 22 October 2022 & The Curious Disappearance of Professor Balloux
A selection of the latest news, studies, reports and articles
I spend a lot of time each day gathering together new information and interesting articles. I then pick one or two of the most interesting topics and write about them. However, that leaves a lot of missed out information that I’m not sharing.
Below is a summary of all the latest articles and information that I’ve found. Today, this is a slimmed down version for all subscribers but will be for paid subscribers only a lot of the time in the future.
Please consider taking out a paid subscription because it enables me to spend longer reporting on the news that isn’t, but should be reported.
Before I list the “Must-Reads”, what happened to Professor Francois Balloux, director of the University College London (UCL) Genetics Institute?
In my recent article about the new pre-print, which indicated that the origins of SARS-CoV-2 was from a lab, I finished with some comments from Professor Balloux.
One of those experts is Professor Francois Balloux who is very much a Covid centrist. He was given advance warning of the pre-print and was able to replicate the key findings himself. He says that to the best of his knowledge, the reported patterns are genuine.
Francois states that the restriction sites in SARS-CoV-2 is highly atypical when compared to related viruses in circulation and far more in line with previous lab-engineered coronaviruses.
He concludes that this is the strongest piece of evidence against the zoonotic theory and that these are troubling findings which require scrutiny.
Within hours of the Professor tweeting his analysis of the pre-print, this happened.
Hopefully, he has just taken time away from Twitter following a barrage of abuse from the zoonotic ideologues. But even so, it shows just how difficult it is to have a debate nowadays. If you are not on the side of the narrative, you get hounded and hounded, for voicing an alternative opinion, until you give up or worse.

Unherd - Is ‘globalist’ an anti-Semitic term? Israeli nationalism expert Yoram Hazony thinks not. In recent years, the term ‘globalist’ has become a favourite among populists and the anti-establishment media. Politicians from Donald Trump to Viktor Orbán to Giorgia Meloni have used the word to describe what they are against — but does it actually mean anything?
Science
WaPo - Wait, why are there so few dead bugs on my windshield these days? You’ve probably noticed it, too. On long summer road trips, tiny corpses once formed a crust so thick that the reduced visibility posed a legitimate safety risk. Now, many folks we spoke with can’t remember the last time they had to scour the bug gore from their RAV4.
Vaccines
JAMA - SARS-CoV-2 Vaccination and Myocarditis in a Nordic Cohort Study of 23 Million Residents. In a cohort study of 23.1 million residents across 4 Nordic countries, risk of myocarditis after the first and second doses of SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines was highest in young males aged 16 to 24 years after the second dose. For young males receiving 2 doses of the same vaccine, data were compatible with between 4 and 7 excess events in 28 days per 100 000 vaccinees after second-dose BNT162b2, and between 9 and 28 per 100 000 vaccinees after second-dose mRNA-1273.
Daily Mail - Are Covid vaccines for British babies on the way? Regulators are assessing data on Moderna's jab for infants as young as six months.
Epoch Times - Florida surgeon general Dr. Joseph Ladapo recently advised healthy men aged 18 to 39 not to get the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. An analysis by Florida’s Department of Health found sharp increases in cardiac-related deaths post-vaccination. In this episode, he explains in detail what he and his department found.

Re Dr. Balloux, those flogging the narrative have much to hide, which is why they seek to censor & destroy. We’ve seen it w/ so many others, brave enough to speak out. W/ the truth finally coming out - & unstoppable - the narrative will end soon, justice will be served & consequences meted out (I hope)
Should add this to must reads, David Zweig tweet lead me to this substack I had previously never read. Fascinating work he has done (his pinned "origin story" is pretty great too)
