Today's Must-Reads - 15 February 2023
A selection of the latest news, studies, reports and articles
We all like likes. Who doesn’t like getting as many likes as possible on their articles!? However, over the next month, I would appreciate if you would like the must-reads so I can get a good indication of how useful they are. So please like if you enjoy the must-reads, not only because I’m desperate for admiration but mainly so I can see how many people actually read them! Thanks!
I spend a lot of time each day gathering together new information and interesting articles. I then pick one or two of the most interesting topics and write about them. However, that leaves a lot of missed out information that I’m not sharing.
Below is a summary of all the latest articles and information that I’ve found. Today, this is a slimmed down version for all subscribers but will be for paid subscribers only a lot of the time in the future.
Please consider taking out a paid subscription because it enables me to spend longer reporting on the news that isn’t, but should be reported.
Climate Change
The Welsh government is axing all the country’s major road building projects and no more will be built unless they won’t cause more cars or higher emissions. This is unsurprising as they have spent almost 60% of their budget on Climate Change.
More eco loons are blocking roads in London. Not only is this disruptive and pointless but is dangerous when ambulances are unable to attend emergencies. The police, instead of clearing the area, are removing and arresting any members of the public who try to get the eco loons off the road. Compare this approach to how they dealt with lockdown protestors.
Covid
The Guardian reports on the ‘crazy interesting’ idea of natural immunity. Australian researchers have found a receptor protein that sticks to the virus and immobilises it.
I saw this graph being used online to highlight how dangerous Covid is. It shows the number of Australian Covid and influenza deaths by year. Look how many Covid death there were in 2022. With a highly vaccinated population perhaps this chart indicates something else.
Covid Lockdowns & Mandates
CDC Director, Walensky, was grilled recently on masking children. She was asked when the masking guidance was going to change to be more in line with the rest of the world. She replied that masking guidance doesn’t change with time, it changes with disease.
Economy/Energy/Finance
Explosive news! The UK is going to pump hydrogen through the main gas pipeline by 2025 in a move to net zero. For areas that can’t be electrified, the system will be repurposed for hydrogen.
The WSJ is providing excellent advice to anybody who is feeling the pinch at the moment. Rather than scrutinise the reason for the decline in living standards, the paper blames the pandemic and Putin and tells the reader “To Save Money, Maybe You Should Skip Breakfast”.
Health
Previously last updated in 2006, the CDC have a Toxicological Profile for Vinyl Chloride. Fortunately, this was updated in January 2023 so that the most current information is available for the environmental disaster occurring in Ohio.
Peter Hotez tells us that a 4th major coronavirus will hit us by 2030. This tweet was retweeted by Peter Daszak from Eco Health Alliance.
Totally agree @PeterHotez. We need science not politics! Reading the letters, subcommittee would appear to have already reached it's (unsupported) conclusion.A 4th major coronavirus will hit us by 2030 (so far we’ve had SARS MERS COVID). The evidence for zoonotic origins for all 3 overwhelming as it will be for #4. Instead of pandemic preparedness, virologic research, we’ll get political theatre/Fox soundbites https://t.co/uIisDwU3NxProf Peter Hotez MD PhD @PeterHotezHeart attack deaths rose by 30% in 25-44 year olds between 2020 and 2022. This is an age group where you don’t usually see heart attacks, let alone deaths from heart attacks. CBS puts the blame on Covid, lack of masking and delays in getting vaccinated. No mention of other factors which could also increase heart attacks.
Politics
More and more language about the recent ‘objects’ shot down in the US is clearly being used to invoke speculation about UFOs. Senator James Lankford, after a classified briefing, said “this is some other entity that’s flying around in our airspace”.
Senator John Kennedy is also using similar rhetoric. He says, “this has been going on for a very, very long time…at least since 2017”. (Not that long then!?) After the classified UFO briefing he ominously warns everyone to “lock your doors tonight”.
The White House says a leading explanation is that the unidentified objects are commercial or benign balloons. But they may not be able to recover the debris from the three objects recently shot down.
The Guardian tells the UK to prepare for a wave of extra-terrestrial sightings whilst the Times says there is no evidence the recent objects shot down are from China. Nato was also on alert as Romania sent up jets to investigate another spy balloon.
Technology
Klaus Schwab, (who definitely doesn’t want a one World Government) said at the World Government Summit, “we are just now moving to the exponential stage”. He continued, “our life in 10 years from now will be completely different”.
Ukraine
The plot thickens. Was Sy Hersh’s source about the Nord Stream pipe destruction a member of the President Intelligence Advisory Board (PIAB)? For a recent interview with Sy, listen here (starting around 8:20).
The US says that Russia has lost. “They’ve lost strategically, operationally and tactically”. Does that mean we can stop pouring money into Ukraine? No? I didn’t think so.
Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, said that the EU, for the first time, intends to impose sanctions targeting Iran.
Vaccines
Caught on mic during the World Poker Series, Aaron Duczak tells fellow competitors, “I wish I never got the vaccine. I’ve been having chest pains ever since I had that thing”.
That Senator “Lanky” Lankford sure looks like some alien himself ... joking aside, I’ve never understood how people believe that an advanced civilisation, one advanced enough to traverse umpteen light years of empty space to reach our blue planet, would use such puny craft as to get themselves shot down by the ridiculously primitive weaponry we naked apes possess. Even Hollywood blockbusters make that point, it always has to be some imaginative weak spot the hero has to find, since the big guns are useless.
My totally unsubstantiated pet theory is that the three latter flying objects were the results of a lone basement boffin tinkering with advanced technology, which if it came out that it was possible to do such stuff in your shed would be an even greater threat to national security than any foreign power let alone aliens. It would encourage the rest of us to have a go. No, better whisk the evidence away, same as was done with that guy in the 1980s, I believe, who invented some engine that ran on water. After a brief media appearance (UK TV methinks) over three days he disappeared and was never heard of again.
The stuff going on here on earth and done by my fellow humans is far more exciting, strange and unbelievable than any UFO encounters.
OK don’t shoot me.
But I have doubts about the Seymour Hersh piece.
I don’t for a second doubt that the US (and its allies) blew up the pipeline.
But this story feels ‘made-up’ and a bit too good to be true.
Is it a classic piece of misdirection ?
Hersh has form on this. Cast your minds back to the famous raid on Abbottabad, in 2011, to kill Osama bin Laden.
The whole story was the most preposterous official narrative in the History of Lies.
77 Navy Seals flew in six helicopters to a house containing Osama bin Laden, his daughter and two wives. There followed an intense 40 minute firefight. Against four unarmed civilians. 40 minutes!
Not a single person living in the street heard any of this.
Once it was over they apologised to the daughter and took Osaka’s body off to the air craft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, where they held an Islamic funeral on the deck, with all necessary religious rites accorded.
I guess after the public lynching of Saddam Hussein, and the vile murder of Gaddafi with a bayonet up his ass, they wanted to do it with dignity this time.
According to FOI requests not one of the 3,500 ship’s complement saw the funeral. Then the body was thrown into the sea and with it any proof the raid had even taken place.
Now, to the point of all this. Subsequently Hersh wrote a ‘bombshell’ piece in the LRB that challenged the official narrative and caused all sorts of ructions. Just like this latest piece.
And the bombshell revelation? It was a joint operation between the US and Pakistani military intelligence.
See what he did there?
He essentially confirmed the official narrative that the raid had indeed taken place. A classic limited hangout.
This took place in 2011.
Ten years earlier, on December 26 a Funeral Notice for Osama bin Laden was published in the Egyptian newspaper al-Ward.
He was never even there in Abbottabad.
After the raid the Navy Seals confiscated his computers and made an inventory of his house. But there was one thing they didn’t find without which he could not possibly have been living there in secret.
What was that? A kidney dialysis machine.
