Totally unrelated but worth sharing to an international audience. My wife and I got up at 6am to drive 4 hours to Ottawa to see for ourselves what all the fuss is about. Received this text from a friend who attended yesterday. “Even Aiden (14yr old son) was blown away being there. He actually thanked us for bringing him there! Lol.

Lots of music, dancing, cheering, free food and drinks everywhere! It’s honestly a whole lot of love and unity there. I’ve never felt more welcome and safe.” We’ll be arriving shortly. Stay strong people. We’re unstoppable now and they know it.

So many people in the United States are sending our Canadian brothers and sisters BIG LOVE and prayers for protection. You are an inspiration to us and people all over the word! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your courage and resolve in the face of tyranny. God bless you all.

It was seven degrees there when I was watching online this afternoon for about thirty minutes. Beautiful though. Just fabulous what they’re doing!

It was just as advertised. Not a negative sign, not a negative word, not one racist symbol despite what our “leader” has said. A city full of beautiful people celebrating their newfound connection to each other and their own hope. The truckers are adamant they’re not moving. They poked the wrong bear here! They’ve broken up one bridge blockade near Detroit but there are many others and plans to replace the one broken. We are many and they are few. I think we have the upper hand. Now we watch and support our brothers and sisters around the world create their own blockades. Freedom, like a virus, spreads quickly!

Love it! We all need to laugh a bit to break the stress of all this!

Most people on social media have lost their sense of humor, and for people on the Left it’s debatable if any have ever had one, so this is refreshing!

Anything remotely funny to the left is a crime!

Nomen est omen! Being Blunt is an instrument of power because he is playful and ironic, something our vacuous but dangerous PM Trudeau doesn't get...he needs to be removed from office or he will do awful, undemocratic things like lock up a whole bunch of truckers. Oh, he is already doing it, this morning in Windsor, at the Bridge. Talk about a bridge too far...

Well my regard for James Blunt has risen massively, after reading these tweets.

Gotta love the guy, even if his music is not to your taste!

Loved this! Made me laugh and god only knows we all could use a bit more of that in our lives!

This has been portrayed somewhat differently by the NZ media. The speaker of the house Trevor Mallard looks even stupider now.

I love his songs and his humor.

I must say I can's stand his songs, they are scratching my ears in a very painful way.

But I do appreciate him for being light about it.
