Canada: Unvaccinated Denied Organ Transplants But Can Donate Organs Once Dead
Tragic Tale of Garnet Harper
Garnet Harper, a resident of Sudbury, Canada and a father of five children, tragically passed away from kidney disease in May. The fact that he was unable to receive a transplant due to his unvaccinated status exacerbated the situation. Monique Leal from Independent Journalism brought this story to light via a heartfelt conversation with Garnet's family.
Garnet's wife, Meghan Harper, described her husband's diagnosis of stage five kidney disease (also known as end-stage renal disease or ESRD) in February 2022. Garnet's kidneys, operating at a scant 8% functionality, had virtually failed. Unfortunately, kidneys cannot regenerate themselves, leaving Garnet in desperate need of a transplant.
Their initial consultation with a nephrologist had suggested hope; at 35, Garnet was an optimal candidate for a transplant. However, their hopes were soon overshadowed by the matter of his Covid-19 vaccination status. In multiple hospital visits, the Harpers came to the conclusion that a kidney transplant was the only viable way forward. According to Garnet’s wife, The London Hospital they were referred to, however, demanded proof of vaccination, something Garnet didn't have.
His wife recounted, "We were told that we couldn't have a referral to the London Hospital if Garnet was not vaccinated for Covid-19." This led Garnet's brothers, Gal and DeVaughn, to approach other hospitals in Ontario, exploring their policies, and considering a living donor transplant. Even with family members willing to donate their kidneys, the hospitals refused to assist them unless Garnet received the Covid-19 vaccine.
Meghan described her husband as a freedom champion in their community. Despite months of trying to heal naturally, Garnet tragically passed away on May 22, 2023, due to a bleeding stroke caused by lifelong diabetes. She lamented the delay in getting onto the transplant list, saying that they "should have never had to wait this long."
What made the story take a depressingly ironic turn was when Meghan received a call from the Trillium program, asking for Garnet's organs. She confronted them, "Are you aware that unvaccinated people are not eligible to receive transplants in Ontario, and that’s a large part of why my husband is lying in this bed right now?"
She expressed her outrage, stating that hospitals "need to change because we can't continue this way." By the end of the call, the nurse on the line, previously unaware of the denial of treatments for unvaccinated organ transplant patients, agreed with her.
Describing the painful experience, Meghan stated, "The fact that they call you while you’re sitting next to your dying loved one and they ask you if they can have his organs, while meanwhile he wasn’t good enough to receive organs from them is, I can’t describe the feeling. It makes me sick to my stomach."
Born on July 13, 1987, Garnet was the owner of Sharper Auto Spa, taking immense pride in his business. An obituary from his family revealed that Garnet "strode to make every interaction with his family and friends meaningful."

Sadly, the brainwashing worked too well on some people and they take pleasure in watching unvaccinated people die. Sorryantivaxxer.com has over 6,000 comments on the post about Garnet’s death. Disgusting, tragic and sad.
Turdeau should be wearing an orange jumpsuit.
Some good news. Shelia Lewis is back on the transplant list. After losing at the Supreme Court of Canada Sheila launched a new lawsuit against AHS for medical malpractice with Umar Sheikh of Sheikh Legal. That seems to have got their attention LOL

While not a complete victory it is progress. A big thank you to NE and everyone who spread this story far and wide and wouldn't let Shelia die without a fight.
