Yesterday, Gray Zone UK journalist Kit Klarenberg noticed that ‘a Russian “Special Flight Squadron” plane landed in Washington DC.’ He claimed that the plane was one used by Kremlin officials and had set out from St. Petersburg. ‘You do the math’ he told his X/Twitter followers.
What he meant was that he thought Kremlin officials had been flown over to Washington to discuss ending the Ukrainian war. As this was always a US proxy war, Ukraine was being left out of the negotiations, instead being conducted by the big boys.
Of course this is just speculation but it is important to question everything. And as the novelist Milan Kundera, who died this year, once said - “the stupidity of people comes from having an answer for everything. The wisdom of the novel comes from having a question for everything”.
What was interesting is what happened hours after the plane landed. The Washington Post suddenly deleted its ‘War in Ukraine’ tab on its home page.
Many people claim that the WaPo is a CIA mouthpiece so do they know something we don’t? Is this just war fatigue or a signal that the Ukrainian war is coming to an end?
Similar tabs are still on the BBC and Guardian websites so if they disappear from there we’ll know the war is well and truly over!
It’s depressing they continue to have a tab on climate - I guess that steaming pile of poo isn’t going away any time soon
Love Kit so glad you follow him.. funny how you're ahead of the news by watching what's erased!
