I spend a lot of time each day gathering together new information and interesting articles. I then pick one or two of the most interesting topics and write about them. However, that leaves a lot of missed out information that I’m not sharing.

Below is a summary of all the latest articles and information that I’ve found. Today, this is a slimmed down version for all subscribers but will be for paid subscribers only a lot of the time in the future.

Climate Change

• Spiked says we need to end the war on nuclear power. Germany’s phase-out of nuclear energy is a colossal error.

• The King returns to work after a weekend of Coronation celebrations. He used his first speech after his Coronation to urge engineers working on net zero research to “save this planet from increasing catastrophe”.

Covid

• Chinese scientists find ‘suspicious’ feature of coronavirus in the wild. Should that be ‘suspicious’ Chinese scientists? The so-called ‘furin cleavage site’ is a natural occurring phenomenon, says new study

Covid Mandates & Lockdowns

• The ‘nudgers’ are denying responsibility for covid fear mongering. HART asks is this an example of self-serving memory bias?

• City Journal looks at the harm caused by masks. A new study suggests that the excess carbon dioxide breathed in by mask-wearers can have major health consequences.

Economy/Energy/Finance

• Rent and mortgage payments are missed by 700,000 households in the UK in April as six in 10 renters report making changes to cover essential spending, survey finds.

• But at the same time Brits are being offered no-deposit 100% mortgage loans for the first time since 2008. Renters in the U.K. will be able to borrow up to 100% of the value of a property without a guarantor

• Gas prices in Europe may treble, warns Goldman Sachs. European gas prices could rise in the second half of this year and nearly treble from current levels in the winter, according to Goldman Sachs.

• The Fed have increased rates faster than any other time in recent history. In just over a year, rates have risen by nearly 5 percentage points.

  

• The pound is forecast to rise sharply against the dollar after one of the City's most gloomy analysts admitted it was “wrong” to underestimate Britain's economic prospects.

Health

• Excess deaths in Taiwan massively jumped in the second quarter of 2022. Following a similar pattern to the UK, excess deaths still remain high.

  

• Researchers have created an AI tool that can identify individuals at high risk for pancreatic cancer up to three years before a diagnosis. According to the research published in the journal Nature Medicine, the diagnosis is based solely on the patient's medical records.

Politics

• Where’s Larry Page? US Virgin Islands can't find Google co-founder Larry Page to subpoena him in a lawsuit against JP Morgan Chase for 'enabling Epstein's sex-trafficking ring' - as prosecutors try to reach him through parent company Alphabet.

• CJ Hopkins writes an Open Letter to Twitter’s Head of Trust & Safety (and Censorship). Twitter has been censoring his political commentary and maliciously defaming him (i.e., damaging his reputation and income as an author) for approximately two years.

• 'Minority Report'? Google 'prebunking' initiative builds on feds' anti-populism internet games. After experimenting on Americans and Eastern Europeans last year, Google is expanding a program to "inoculate" YouTube users against purported misinformation and disinformation to Europe's largest economy and the world's soon-to-be biggest country.

• Former Prime Minister, Liz Truss is to visit Taiwan and give a speech that could upset UK’s China strategy. Ex-PM, who is trying to revive career, says she will ‘show solidarity’ with Taiwan after Nancy Pelosi visit sparked furore

• China has warned Canada to stop ‘unreasonable provocations’. “We advise the Canadian side to immediately stop its unreasonable provocations,” foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told a briefing. “… if the Canadian side doesn’t listen to this advice and acts recklessly, (China) will take resolute and forceful retaliatory measures, and all consequences will be borne by the Canadian side.”

Technology

• Why Conscious AI Is a Bad, Bad Idea. Our minds haven’t evolved to deal with machines we believe have consciousness. It doesn’t seem in any way conscious to me yet, what do you think?

Ukraine

• The Biden Administration announced additional security assistance for Ukraine yesterday. The package totalled $1.2 billion for additional air defence systems and munitions, missiles, ammunition, artillery rounds, commercial satellite imagery services and support for training.

Vaccines

• The CDC finally released VAERS Safety Monitoring Analyses For COVID vaccines showing clear safety signals for death and a range of highly concerning thrombo-embolic, cardiac, neurological, hemorrhagic, hematological, immune-system and menstrual adverse events (AEs) among U.S. adults.

• GB News are told to meet Ofcom after Covid jabs are likened to mass murder. Naomi Wolf compared the vaccination programme to pre-Nazi Germany.

• The UK Government has authorised Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine (Spikevax) for use in infants and children aged 6 months to 5 years. The COVID-19 vaccine from Moderna has met the MHRA’s required safety, quality and effectiveness standards to be authorised for use in this age group
